@mahunkey While I agree some parts of "popular" music has got a lot worse, with acts who cannot play instruments and have songs written for them by record companies and who mime along to an autotuned track, I imagine that 10-15 years ago when I was a teenager, the music I liked would have been knocked down by older people (compare say Blur to Pink Floyd or Oasis to The Beatles. There is still good music out there these days it just takes a bit of effort to find.

I said that, in comparison with today's music. I'm not saying todays is bad. Is good, but no as good. I like dance musice. By comparison, 90's dance music was the best. Now days, is starting to be only commercial, that makes dance music lose quality. 90's had commercial music too, but not so many as today. But even in the 90's some commercial were good. Todays commercial sucks. Is clone music. Music for the masses, isn't music at all. Music is a state of mind, not of profit.
