@TheBlackiechan10 No. Im talking about Nathan Szep, the quarterback who shattered the Ignatius passing records (and holds them still today). After setting records at Washington St. Louis as only a freshman, he walked onto OSU his sophomore year. He was a better QB than Justin Zwick, the OSU top recruit. But Nathan ended up leaving the field to pursue his studies . Its hard to make it as a walk-on (coaches dont want to admit their recruiting mistake). Nate's a successful lawyer now
I like Anthony Gonzolez., think he's a great receiver. But these 'highlights' are severly lacking. Whoever put this video together did not do a very good job. Again, i'm not ripping on Gonzolez, rather the person who created this video. There have to be better highschool highlights of this guy.
Not sure if you noticed, but these highlights were all taken from 1 game...the 2001 Division I Regional Final against Maurice Clarett and Warren Harding, when Gonzo was a junior in HS.
If you want to see highlights of his best HS game, check out the 2002 Ignatius/Massillon game--he blocked a field goal, caught 2 td passes, had a pick-6 on defense, broke up several passes, and single-handedly led Ignatius to a comeback victory
This is Anthony Gonzalez, Slot receiver for the Indianapolis Colts. This is just showing what he did in high school at Saint Ignatius in Northeast Ohio. From SI he went onto Ohio State to be the #1 wide receiver for the Buckeyes, and leading them to a few National Championships. He got drafted early in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
dude...my bro played with gonzalez he was playing in this game being showed with him...i was there and this is when they one the state championship with 4 losses...gonzo is a friggin beast..SI does rule
Props to Nate Szep's great passing. There's a guy who could have gone pro.
