I don't like snow days because too many will make school end later. I want school to end earlier than planned. In 2008, school ended early, 2010 in ended late, & 2011 there was a snow make up day. Last September, there was a terrible flood and school was cancelled that day because a lot of roads were closed. I hope there won't be snow days this year because I want teacher workdays and other holidays off.
This type of weather is pretty awful because too many snow days can cause make-up days. I don't like days like this because I want school to end earlier than scheduled for more summer time and more fun later on after all of the work.

We got enough for the roads to be completely dangerous, cancelling school for the entire week. This is the most we have gotten in a really long time, like I am saying in decades.
I kept seeing stuff about the snow storm hitting the Southeast. That's cool you got school out! We were finally supposed to get snow too- 6 to 8 inches, but they keep changing the forecast, and now it looks like we'll be lucky to get a light dusting.
Years ago we got about 4 inches of snow then freezing rain on top. Liquorice would go out and he could actually walk on top of it, but his feet would slide out from under him, then he'd fall and break through the ice into the snow! So funny!
lol! here in los angeles... there'd be no such thing as a snow storm. snow is snow! haha! LA had it in the 80's once. thats a lot of snow on the stairs there! geez! i wanna go sleding, there are some gnarly hills here that would be great for it!
It's pretty much stopped snowing where I live. There's still a lot of snow everywhere though. Which is really unusual for here. When it HAS snowed in previous few years, it all snowed and melted within the same morning. But I don't think it got nearly as bad where I live as they were making it sound. I don't think so anyway.
