This song is o.k but the "value of ignorance" is MUCH better. I like her voice and style which some other female singers try to duplicate them such as: Sarah Mclachlan (voice) and Dolores O'Riordan (lead vocal of the Cranberries) voice and mostly, style).

But if I choose one among these three singers, of course Sinead O'Connor is a far far away BETTER.

Dit is 1 van de mooiste songs ooit. En dan te bedenken dat het een nummer is van mijn 1e CD tje waar 4 nummers opstonden, waarvan Madinka de hit was en daarom kocht ik hem ook. Echter dit is zo geniaal mooi en dan ook nog dat andere prachtige nummer op die maxi-single CD...Drink before the war...ook een juweeltje!!!!!!! Hail Sinead.

Despite the religious nature of sineads newer albums, sinead is still on top of her game. she doesnt have the anger that drove her voice of younger years, but its been replaced by a soothing motherlike quality matched by no other artist.

I believe it was from Sinead's "Mandinka" limited edition LP and/or cassette tape around 1987. I pray to God that it is available on CD! But anyhow, thank you so so much for reintroducing this magnificent record and making such a wonderful slide show with it pollyjaneH! This would have been good if it was apart of The Lion and the Cobra, but I'm glad she developed it anyhow! Best Music in my book is always going to belong to the Great Sinead!

I haven't found it on CD, and I can't find an MP3 ANYWHERE! I had this song on a mix tape years ago, and it's always been one of my favorite Sinead songs of all time. If anyone has a source for this song on CD or as an MP3, please share!!! Thanks.
