@stefie01 I crashed my mountain bike at high speed in a Scottish forest in June 2008. This clip was taken by my girlfriend as I recovered in hospital, I didn't realise she was filming, I thought she was taking a photo.....
@roary2008 Ouch that's a horrible experience. I broke my right tibia and that's all but this is much worse both arms. I hope you have made a 100% recovery and back to normal function.
I broke both my arms as well, Gymnastic, was not fun at all stuck in cast from July 29th 2009- September 3rd 2009. Had to go under general anesthesia for them to be smacked and twisted back into place. Sat in the ER for 3 hours no Meds.
Was given Potassium when it was not needed. Could have been fatal. And YES FATAL.
Finally didn't get my arms "fixed" until around 1:20-2:00 in the AM,
Terrible experience now i won't set foot on a trampoline.
i broke both of my arms at the same time as well right before my presentation ball (DEB)! iended up dancing with two broken arms on stacks of pain killers.
how long did your radial head fracture take to heal because mine is 8 weeks in and still not feeling close to fully healed?
broke my arm playing aussie rules footy when i got slammed to the ground and landed straight onto my right shoulder. broke elbow couple weeks later playing basketball in socks for my sport class. i was so pissed off! it was day before my presentation ball!
Glad you liked the clip! I fractured both radial heads a year last June. The left arm was operated on and the surgeon used a small piece of metal and six screws in order to get the fractured pieces to knit together. My right arm fixed itself without surgery. Both arms are ok now, the left arm doesn't fully extend but only by about 10 degrees and rotation is slightly restricted (I hardly notice). You just have to have the right attitude to your recovery and you will be fine. Good luck!
Sweet, cheers for the info. glad your ok now bud, i see you spent your recovery time constructivly, if the NBA start a glasses basketball league you'll be first pick! :D
I just checked out your fave videos - nearly all 71 of them look to contain someone in some form of cast... I'm interested to know what the fascination is....
hi peter, thanks for yur message - i know you too don't forget! i'm glad you liked the vid, katie put it on as a joke. congratulations on passing your black belt grading - that is quite an achievement, well done!
