To me,

Contact Improvisation is a form of therapy, a way of movement which you can use in everyday life. It strengthens trust issues amongst couples and helps couples understand one anothers' bodies. Not only this but it can help improve a person relax, explore, and go with the flow. Of course it benefits flexibility, the core, and for a person to be malleable.

I like the different explanations that talk about what contact improv is - the people are very well spoken and insightful. And you can see the goodness of the people. shine through.

Nice filmwork and good clips of the dancing. Nice background scenes outside, good camera angles and high quality sound. Good attention to detail.

Vor ca 5 Jahren habe ich an dem Festival teilgenommen. Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung, die mich tänzerisch an einige Grenzen gebracht hat und viele Kanäle geöffnet hat. Sehr schönes Video das Erinnerungen weckt und sehr informativ ist.

Most people enjoy the connection, and are not interested in anything else. The same percentage as if you met 100 people at a dinner party. Half would be taken and of the other half, maybe 1 might have any real interest in you, and would date you before deciding to do more. People do not go there to hook up later. If a person wanted that, they would go to a bar, where a much larger number are interested in such. A person would be 10 times more likely to at a bar. Thats not what contact is about.

Ouivalerie- I looked at your profile and your About Me says only: What I found worth watching. What I think has a good idea it's really UFO connected. The fact that the only vids you find worth watching are UFOs makes me less likely to take you seriously. In contact improv, being open to touch does not translate to being open to sex. Everybody at a jam is pretty open to touch, and some may feel some arousal at times, yet pretty much none of them are interested in having sex with you.

I k new a guy that did not want to go to dances because he got horny and did not want to cheat on his wife and found being horny an annoyance. So this video is full of people with self control but some people will get involved in such a contact so they can find sex at a later point. They want to know if touch bother's the other person or they can and they go from there. This does not explain those issues. The world is LOADED with people seeking a sex high and it's always a competition win/lose.
