Secondly you just have to look at how the Irish government treats its immigrants and asylum seekers (forcing them to wait several years for a decision on their application), whilst simultaneously accusing them of scrounging off welfare!

It is not racist to protect your nation and land. Most asylum seekers are bogus, and many foreign students get here and do a runner, more than 10,000 to be precise. Immigrants cost this country 100s of millions each year.

RTE should have two Statler and Waldorf characters on the real news. Just stick them in the corner of the screen and let them make a few cracks after each report. It would be an immense improvement.
