Thank you so much. This has great personal significance for me. I met Miss Troyanos the day before her Met debut in the 70s, wishing her in bocca di lupo. I saw her many times, and then it was announced she was dying of cancer. As luck would have it, or fate, I was walking through Central Park one day and on a bench were seated Miss T. and her mom. Obviously weak and debilitated, I thanked her for her great gift to the public and said I thought she was one of the greats. She died soon after.
James Livine is so amazing ! He really sings with her and breath with her. Great rendition of this aria
