  • @sorted Me and my family have a 'fend for yourself' evening on mondays where we use up the extra food before we do the weekly shop. Can you show me an easy, quick recipe to use up bread, cheese, milk, eggs, tins of beans etc. ? Please?

  • @kitkatzinix How about something like our Breakfast Wedge? Would also make a great dinner!

  • @silverdragon1314 it originally contained sugar and it was served as a special dessert on sundays, but someone came up with the wonderful idea of cutting out the sugar. Call me walking wikipedia

  • @kitkatzinix @silverdragon1314 Indeed! Note that the opposite in a way is true of mince pies, a British Christmas dessert. They were originally made with mince-meat, but now the mince-'meat' is raisins, etc.

  • This is such an American comment, but, that's okay, I am one.

That....doesn't look like pudding. o.o Can someone(anyone) explain to me the yorkshire "pudding"??

  • I love how they have 6 roasties between 4 of them whilst me and my dad usually have about 10 each :D

  • That looks amazing! Please Could you do a video on how to make Chicken fajita wraps? I loveee fajitas x

  • your presentation was AMAZING.. i would have never thought of making a massive yorkshire pudding and putting the beef and vegetables in it.. respect to SORTED <3

  • My mum always uses the drippings from the roast in Yorkshire pudding. How does that factor in to this recipe?

  • You guys are great

  • do sumthin wid the yogcast

  • Thank you so much for introducing me to Brett and Steven!

  • my family after the par boiling and shaking of the potatos covers them in a layer of semolina which adds a real nice crisp to it as well. while not detracting from the flavour in any way, its worth trying at some point.

  • I keep thinking: "bret domino, he's got the flow" haha, oh charlieissocoolike ^^

  • I cooked this yesterday for me and a couple of mates at uni, we're now doing a weekly dinner date - each week one of us will cook something, im not sending them to this channel else i'll have nothing to impress them with!

  • Can you make something with cheese please :)

  • @xXcheeseloversXx If you're feeling lucky, go to our website and search "cheese", it'll come up with loads of recipes. Otherwise, how about just looking for our Mac and Cheese or Quesadillas recipes?

  • who answers the youtube questions?

  • @JakesterJung it is indeed, his real name is Rob Madin. He has another alias too, CBombMusic.

  • Who are these nerds ?

  • First vid that ive seen from SortedFood, that the guests are very awkard and boring:)

  • Who is older, Ben or Barry?

  • @FallingFromAHeight Surely the question is who do you THINK is older? Haha!!

  • @sortedfood Gonna have to say Ben(looks more wise) :P

  • This looks really awkward..

  • I made this a few days ago for the fam, it was a great succes XD. Im def gonna try some other recipes! Thanks Sorted^^

  • that doesn't look like pudding...

  • That is the biggest Yorkshire pudding I have ever seen and it looks amazing!! :(

  • what causes the Yorkshire pudding to come out as a bowl D: how come the edges rise but not the center? Does the oil have anything to do with it? :o thanks!

  • Omg, the guy with the blue shirts looks so awkward... That's so CUTE.

  • OMG WE HAVE THE SAME KITCHENSSSS! LOL xx

  • I love how Steven Peavis took the pink pepper grinder :P

  • love how all these americans have no clue what you're on about. hahah, i love england and english food :)

  • He reminds me of Seananners. Only thing missing is Seananners nerdy voice.

  • STEVEN FKIN PEAVIS!!

  • a proper yorkshire dish. You made a yorkshire-man incredibly hungry now. thanks -_-

  • I honestly think they're this awkward in their day to day life. No one can impersonate awkwardness this perfectly.

  • yorchshire pudding doesn't look much like pudding.......

  • I'm sure they're lovely lads but they're so awkward for YouTube directors.

  • IVE GOT THAT COLINDER! :o

  • What in the world is Yorkshire Pudding? Does it taste like mustard bread or something?

  • @joeseatat Like a big, baked, crispy, savoury, pancake sort of thing!?!

  • @joeseatat Yeah it sounds like it's meant to be sweet or something!

  • I do like a roast dinner but i LOVE femalefashionuk CHECK IT OUT!!!!!

  • @chanjo5799 Thats the joke! check them out, thay act geeky and dull but really they are grerat actors and musicians...

  • Think il make this for my dad when I get home next week.

  • They\re deliberately awkward, and they're great actors.

  • looks delicious.

  • I am so curious about the reason behind the difference between US and British recipes for "gravy". Here in the US, we use the renderings from the meat itself to make the gravy, so you have all the nice bits of fat and spices and meat in the gravy as well as on the meat.

Then again, we also have have "red-eye gravy" for ham and "sawmill sausage gravy" for over biscuits, which would be fun to watch you all try. A sort of Sorted Exchange.

  • @feitocomfruta We have exactly the same. It's just a lot quicker and easier to do it with cornflour and stock.

  • I was going to cook this tonight but it turns out my sister doesn't like roast dinners. Looks like I'll have to wait until she's having dinner at someone else's house and my brother is at home to appreciate it.

  • "woooooaaaeehooooo!!!! that one..."

  • for the gravy, what do you think is a good non-alcoholic wine replacement? i can't consume anything with alcohol in it but i'd love to try this recipe out. thanks! :D

  • @KiraDoofenshmirtz when you boil it the alcohol boils off, so if its the alchohol that you can't have, you should be fine. Just boil for like 5-10 mins then it'll be non alcoholic

  • @TheEdref wow, i never knew that. thank you very much!! :)

  • @KiraDoofenshmirtz ( i'm only using what my parents told me, i might be wrong, you should probably check some reliable source or something)

  • @TheEdref oh.... okay. lol xD; i will. thanks anyway. :3

  • HAHAHA how typically nerdy is that t-shirt?XD

  • Made this on Sunday. My yorkshire pudding was a fail. Not in taste or it rising but even with the oil in the pan it stuck. I mean superglue stuck. *sigh* So...looks like I need a new baking dish for yorkshire pudding. Other than that...dinner was fabulous.

  • i just made the yorkshire pudding right now and i filled it with honey beef stew from yesterday, its so good, thanks for sharing the recipe, i ate the yorkshire puddings in scotland this summer and i loved them but i forgot about them, and you brought them up to my mind again!

  • @Meridanae Honey beef stew... that sounds interesting?!?

  • @sortedfood its a beef stew flavoured with chestnut honey which is nice and bittersweet and soysauce and it takes 30 minutes to make (in a pressure cooker) :)

  • It looks quite awkward for Brett

  • the guy with the inside of the human body shirt had....really cool hair :)

  • Mmmmmm..... I want some of that roast :D i always wondered how does the yorkshire pudding get cooked that way can someone plz explain to me how I've been wondering since I was a little girl

  • i like my meat well done but usually when cooked all the way through the meat tends to get tough and hard to chew, how long and at what temperature do you recommend i cook the meat and do you have any tips to avoid tough, chewy meat? :)

  • Wheres the mash...?

  • All the comments from people who don't understand Brett Domino have made my day.

  • where can i get those salt and pepper shakers?

  • @TheHappyLittleBee its barley pink that medium nothing rare about it

  • beefs overcooked

  • @809Ollie

Three step recipe for perfect beef:

    Required ingredients: Cow (1)

    1) Wipe arse.

    2) Remove horns (Optional).

    3) Serve.

  • Yummy in my Tummy!

  • When par boiling the pots use plenty of salt. 10g per 1 litre of water and boil for 15 mins. The salt creates micro cavitys in the potato which the oil will seep into and create a delecious crunch. Also the pot will be more evenly seasoned and have less of a starchy flavour :)

  • I love that there is a mac in the kitchen xD

  • The guy in the london shirt hasnt left his bedroom in 10 years! congrats to him.

  • Jetzt habe ich Hunger .-.

  • uh oh chef's mic isn't working!

  • thankyou! that was too funny xD just wondering, i don't eat beef [everything else is fine though.] what other meat would you recommend to use?

  • you know, i'm in bangkok right now... but if somehow i manage to get to england... can i cook with you guys? i'm serious about this.

  • @xtikix Lol xD!

  • 4:32 made me laugh so much

  • can you guys make a video about how to tell if meat is cooked and how well it is cooked without cutting it?

  • @UCShaggy There's actually a trick you can use that requires only your hand! Make the "OK" gesture with your hand and then poke at the fleshy part right below your thumb, that's what rare feels like and do the rest with your other fingers, thumb to index being rare while thumb to pinky is well done.

  • Oh Domino and Peavis. :3

  • @abiii321 yeah, lol thats there act, whilst they play music XD check there channel out they are hilarious!!

  • @abiii321 Yes.

  • @abiii321 Yes, that's their characters. Check out their channel, they're amazing!

  • Would it make a difference if you evenly coat the butter on each potato as opposed to slapping it on in there?

  • @msmatched brushing it with melted butter would be better, but we just save time and effort by slapping it on. Once it's melted they roll about in it anyway. :D

  • @msmatched Or even better you should use goose fat, you'll get the best roast potatoes possible.

  • looks so yummy~

  • That looks really yummy mmm ... you guys are awesome chefs:)

  • one of the guys picked his nose

  • Did.. Did he just eat on camera?!

  • Hey, I've been meaning to ask you something for a while. I live in a small studio apartment with a tiny kitchen, basically consisting of two hot tops, a counter.. And that's it. I wish I could afford a bigger kitchen, but being a college kid doesn't give me that option. Do you have any recipes for wholesome meals on two hot tops? Or just tips on how to work in a tiny kitchen? I love your show, and any help would be much appreciated.

  • They're so awkward but adorable XD great meal i'll have to try it sometime.

  • BIG FOIGGGGGGG

  • The audio panning on this is crazy!

  • Did you call Barry... BEARS? What an adorable nickname!

  • @missinterpreted65 Baz not bears....

  • @danty362 Good answer! :D

  • Mmm... Looks soooo gooood =)

  • Hi! Can you guys please make a video on a quick breakfast recipe? Because I have school early in the mornings and I almost always skip breakfast because my bus comes so early! If I get lucky though, I sometimes have 15 minutes in the morning to make myself something to eat but at that point, I spend the 15 minutes figuring out what to make -.- haha :P so please please please do a video on a breakfast recipe!!! :) love you! x

  • **MOUTHWATER**

  • yumyum

  • Beef or pork or chicken or turkey or lamb... Pure fucking genius!

  • puddings sweet in hungary :D anyways :D Id love to eat that meal

  • I want to eat that.

  • Wow...I've never seen anything like this...looks reallly good! So the pudding is actually just like a bread/pie crust for the filling? But you make it with mustard!? So...it's spicy? Interesting....

  • no dislikes!! yey!

i wonder who would dislike food!?

  • I might want to make this for Easter! You think this would easily feed three people? It looks like a lot but...we eat a lot...

  • Peavis's face when he's whisking those eggs. hahah soo red.

  • I like it how you made the pudding. My nan pours the yorkshire pudding mix into muffin tins. It's nice to see something different.
