As a child I lived across from him on Bernard Circle in Colonial Village in Nashville...his son and I played together and watched his dad perform on "The Noon Show " once... circa 1965...A very nice man.

Ray sounds great with this song - another example of pure country gold. I can't remember the name of the song I first heard him sing years ago - his first top song. I am so happy you have this one - the first time I've heard it, too. We just don't hear much of the good ones anymore sad to say. Thank you for posting this. - Paula
