well done are you using the manfrotto magic arm? or what else did you use to mount the camera? and are those suction cups that sturdy did you experience any vibration?
I used a single rotating arm normally used to attach the lights. It weighs almost nothing. The suction cups are both mounted to the aluminum tube and it is very stable. The tripod is very similar to Manfrotto magic arm, but it is not as advanced and considerably

He used some sort of suction cup apparatus on the car. Also possible to do with those ones that have a 5/8s mount that goes into a super clamp that can hold the pole. At the other end of the pole most likely a magic arm with the camera on it (most likely inverted)

@visioon those suction cups are shaved down to fit the piping? and you drilled those bolt holes? what type of attachment did you use?
