second: this isn't fake, they do hunt this way. those medicines (herbs) are used to lure the python to grab the leg and start swalowing it and the bandages are there to protect the leg and to ease the pulling the leg out....

3rd: The snake isn't dead. Every snake goes to near-hybernation state when she starts swalowing the prey. Tt can't move since the leg is inside the snake...
