  • 2:23 one of the best parts in this prelude! Just magic!

  • NOW THAT ... WAS WELL PLAYED !!!!

  • Exquisite contrapunctism.

  • i dont know why but this prelude reminds me of Bach...

  • @TheDoucheChanel Rach...Bach... See the connection? ;)

  • @TheDoucheChanel perhaps becuase there is significant activity in the left hand. Bach often gives the left hand some of the melody.

  • Макс, ну это просто эталонное исполнение!!!!!

  • It's such a nice piece:)

Im learning it rite now so yeah

  • i've never heard a chopinfan who uploads rachmaninov - but anyways the prelude was great

  • @xXFroZeNLeGenDXx I love both of them, Chopin and Rach ;) Why should this be strange? They may be different but they were both great!

  • 0:04 : Sergie Rachmaninov?

  • I really like this interpretation, though i've never heard of the pianist before.

  • This piece was made during russian revolution i think :D

  • I can play this piece and jasus its hell.

  • This thing is totally burly. -Just find a friend, score it for four hands and save yourself months.

  • nice way to show music

  • Usually, I would have to bring my Rach prelude book over here to listen AND watch, but this makes it alot easier, because I got lost in the score of the e minor prelude in my book, but this turns the pages for you at the right time, so you know where you are.

  • I love this. Even though it is another reminder that I will most likely never play that well, lol. Oh well, at least we can watch, listen, and dream!

  • @cynderfella With that attitude you never will, just go into it and believe and try your best, at least if you can't manage to learn it, you will know you tried your very best and there was nothing lacking, most of all confidence :)

  • Thanks for posting this video. I am starting to learn it. This video is a big help. Excellent performance.

  • Cool video, this is really helpful as I am doing this piece for my recital..now I understand it better musically:)

  • Rachmaninoff is really amazing. His hands must have been a foot long, his piano is always all over the place! :P

  • Thanks so much for posting this! Looking at the score makes it sound even better.

  • WOW! Watch and Listen! What a cool way to study a score! I'm totally hooked---and, as a result just seconds ago bought Maxim's CD of the Rachmaninoff Preludes. A genuine artist in the first degree. I'm surprised there are not more comments.

  • excellent.
