Usually, I would have to bring my Rach prelude book over here to listen AND watch, but this makes it alot easier, because I got lost in the score of the e minor prelude in my book, but this turns the pages for you at the right time, so you know where you are.
@cynderfella With that attitude you never will, just go into it and believe and try your best, at least if you can't manage to learn it, you will know you tried your very best and there was nothing lacking, most of all confidence :)
WOW! Watch and Listen! What a cool way to study a score! I'm totally hooked---and, as a result just seconds ago bought Maxim's CD of the Rachmaninoff Preludes. A genuine artist in the first degree. I'm surprised there are not more comments.
2:23 one of the best parts in this prelude! Just magic!

@TheDoucheChanel Rach...Bach... See the connection? ;)

@TheDoucheChanel perhaps becuase there is significant activity in the left hand. Bach often gives the left hand some of the melody.

@xXFroZeNLeGenDXx I love both of them, Chopin and Rach ;) Why should this be strange? They may be different but they were both great!

I love this. Even though it is another reminder that I will most likely never play that well, lol. Oh well, at least we can watch, listen, and dream!

Rachmaninoff is really amazing. His hands must have been a foot long, his piano is always all over the place! :P
