This trailer reminds me of hte movie Gladiator especially the bit wherer he takes off his shroud to reveal his face. the part where he enters the arena and the crowd screaming was like a cinema experience. This just proves that Star wars does not work anymore like a kids movie.It needs to be more serious like these cinematic trailers from Blur Studios

This is what I think. After turning over to the light side of the force and "dying" in the last game, he disappears, leaving Juno and Darth Vader behind and he goes to train with Yoda. But the Apprentice is conflicted with both Darth Vader's guidance to the Dark side and Yoda's to the light side. But also still loves Juno.

Well, you don't have to be a sith to be able to use Force Lightning. If you have watched Jedi Knight series games walkthrough vids, you can see, that in that series Jedi's can use Force Lightning. It's linked to be darkside force ability, but you don't have to be darkside user. Also, dark jedi's could weild other colored lightsabers as well, not only red ones.
my theory is that every1 thinks that he is dead so they dump him somewhere but he was actually in a coma for a amount of time but when he wakes up there is no1 around wich is why you hear that girl asking "will i ever see you again"

What is a good possibility is that Vader brought Galen back to life, the same way he did after he was killed eariler in the first game. This way, Galen will still be in debt to Vader, hence why Yoda was saying, " Find yourself, you must".

Well, there is only one problem: the light side ending was the canonical one.
Maybe he was cloned by the Emperor (he had a whole cloning facility to support himself with new bodies after his current one gets too old, thus solving the problem of succession) but he refused to follow the dark side.
But when does it take place? After or before the old trilogy?

Yeah, because it has been stated many times by Lucas himself, that someone can hide his "force signature" so other force users can't sense his presence, just think it: How did Palpatine, who happen to be also Darth Sidious in EP's 1 to 3 could stay hidden from Jedi's? Simply he hide his force energy from Jedi's. Obi Wan Kenobi did the same thing in his exile in Tantooine. So it is possible, that Starkiller were actually alive when Emperor and Vader looked at his "lifeless" body..
@clarkkent135 well its kinda confusing since vader himself pronounced he was dead in front of the emperor, so either he was lying or he made a mistake, both being very unlikely.
We don't know anything much about this game so lets wait for it to explain it in due time or the more divided we become in our theories than our anticipation for the sequel.

I want a 'Star Wars movie' like this. Very Dark and more adult like. This trailer had a sort of Gladiator feel to it. Hollywood should make another Star wars movie but make it very dark . Forget Vader- that story is tired. Maybe a stroy of Darth Malak or Naga Sadow

This is what I think. After turning over to the light side of the force and "dying" in the last game, he disappears, leaving Juno and Darth Vader behind and he goes to train with Yoda. But the Apprentice is conflicted with both Darth Vader's guidance to the Dark side and Yoda's to the light side. But also still loves Juno.

Why does he have Force Lightning, which is a Sith ability, and blue lightsabres at the same time? Weird.

Well, you don't have to be a sith to be able to use Force Lightning. If you have watched Jedi Knight series games walkthrough vids, you can see, that in that series Jedi's can use Force Lightning. It's linked to be darkside force ability, but you don't have to be darkside user. Also, dark jedi's could weild other colored lightsabers as well, not only red ones.

my theory is that every1 thinks that he is dead so they dump him somewhere but he was actually in a coma for a amount of time but when he wakes up there is no1 around wich is why you hear that girl asking "will i ever see you again"
and then he is found by yoda and is given 2 lightsabres to train with

My question is where did he get the lightsabers. Neither of them are his original. His original was crushed by Darth Vader after Galen died.

Its the same Starkiller as in the original, the voice saying "Will I ever see you again" is his pilot.

What is a good possibility is that Vader brought Galen back to life, the same way he did after he was killed eariler in the first game. This way, Galen will still be in debt to Vader, hence why Yoda was saying, " Find yourself, you must".

After seeing Starkiller bring down an entire Star Destroyer in the trailer for the first game...Doesn't everything seem like a step back? I mean how can you get more badass than that?

Ok hears my therioys to our boy benig alive again. After his fight with vader and palpatine he used a force energy feild to heal and protect his body while giving the aperince of death. Then was shot into space and now is back in action.

@megamandbz my theory is that he chose to kill darth vader and ended up doing the empeors bidding but he regained consious of himself and ran away from the emperor somewhere around the sith edition and then sought to make everything right becuse junos voice was there which meant she died and he wants her bak

Well, there is only one problem: the light side ending was the canonical one.
Maybe he was cloned by the Emperor (he had a whole cloning facility to support himself with new bodies after his current one gets too old, thus solving the problem of succession) but he refused to follow the dark side.
But when does it take place? After or before the old trilogy?

Yeah, because it has been stated many times by Lucas himself, that someone can hide his "force signature" so other force users can't sense his presence, just think it: How did Palpatine, who happen to be also Darth Sidious in EP's 1 to 3 could stay hidden from Jedi's? Simply he hide his force energy from Jedi's. Obi Wan Kenobi did the same thing in his exile in Tantooine. So it is possible, that Starkiller were actually alive when Emperor and Vader looked at his "lifeless" body..

@clarkkent135 well its kinda confusing since vader himself pronounced he was dead in front of the emperor, so either he was lying or he made a mistake, both being very unlikely.
