We don't believe in imaginary friends, that is all. However if you can give me irrefutable evidence that there is such a thing as a deity (outside of fantasy novels), then you may be able to convince me. But as far as I am aware there is no evidence for the existence of any god.

It's funny how some people can argue over the definition of the word "atheism".
We don't believe in imaginary friends, that is all. However if you can give me irrefutable evidence that there is such a thing as a deity (outside of fantasy novels), then you may be able to convince me. But as far as I am aware there is no evidence for the existence of any god.

If you cannot have good without evil then god has indirectly (but is still responsible) of the existence of evil. If he created evil as some silly test (why is a reason known only to him), then he deliberately created evil.
Are you also saying that babies are not innocent at all? Besides, if Jesus supposedly died for our sins then how are we still responsible for sin? Start making sense.

Which basically makes Atheism a joke because as long as you believe the golden rule; God doesn't exist, you can basically make the rules as you go along. Atheism can have multiple definitions just like morality can have different definitions and subsets, and christianity can have multiple sects with different belief systems does that mean christianity is a joke because there are different sects? @Sledge070685 no there are agnostic atheists, gnostic atheists, and so on and so forth. There are varying degrees of certainty that are allowed within the absence of an active theistic belief. Some people define atheism the same you do Amoral as in the absence of morality meaning the a is defined as without so it would mean "without theism", or a term to describe disbelief.

Changing the way it sounds to make their beliefs sound pretty. Which is why I debate about this subject, to get only one interpretation. When someone says their Christian, you pretty much know what their beliefs are. When one claims they are an Atheist, you know they don't believe in God, but believe other things. It's silly.

I define it in the general sense of not believing, losing faith in god and whatever...Some christians have tried to redefine atheism as being a denialist, I could say the same about christians, but I dont because its just disohnest. Thats why I really dont care what atheism is defined as people can just ask and not refer to a label.

Muslims see Jesus as a prophet, and nothing more. If their are Christians that only see Jesus as a prophet, they aren't Christians, just Jehova's Witnessess.
