At the same time, they show the ultimate end of the war policies that the military carries out. They are exposing lies, and showing the actual effects of war on civilian populations. Just becuase someone doesn't support the war doesn't mean that they would call for an immediate pull-out. Some folks realize that no matter how hosed up this war has become, an immediate pull-out would be a complete dissaster. We need to stay and clean up our mess.

If, in fact, CodePINK is more anti-war than the general US population, that is not really surprising. What is surprising and gratifying, is how close the US population is getting to CodePINK. If 70% of the US public wants the war to end, you can believe that they don't mean 'in ten years'. They mean soon.

There is a small but significant minority that wants a US empire in the middle east, with a lasting military occupation.
