Ender's Game is MY FAVORITE BOOK of ALL TIME. Seriously - that needed all caps. That entire series is amazing and I love it a little more each time I read it. So impressed by you.
@altja4ever AMAZING <3 ... seriously, kind of disappointed that the movie adaptation won't be directed by someone better though, it's supposed to be released in 2013 : / ... i've only read enders game and speaker for the dead, but i enjoyed them both immensely <3 thanks for all your kind words and your awesome comment, wishing you a lovely day :D ^_^
@dy654321 the artist info for all my videos is located in the description box (down bar), the artist is most likely Josh Woodward, he's my favorite creative commons artist, he's a really talented singer/songwriter <3 the link to his channel, music and website are all located in the downbar of my videos as well as on my main channel page, ps. thanks for the kind words :D
@cupcakeonawire No, I don't have one... I won't look at your personal info :D ...plus you shouldn't put it on Facebook, I don't have any personal stuff on mine :P
@pulpfiction1994 true true! there's not really much personal info there, just that my real life is there (friends/pics/family), which i'd like to keep separate from my youtube life :)
@pulpfiction1994 if you click on my username it'll take you to my main channel page, under the video player on the left side is an user pic where the options are to subscribe, message or add as a friend..
@ashannonshow i agree, books *are* cool ;D ... i wish i had more time to dedicate to them, i'll be honest i really haven't read as much as i'd like to in the last few months (since summer), but i have been writing more, which is the other side of reading ;) thank you so much for all your kind words ! <3
After watching a few of your videos, this was the one that made me definitely decide to subscribe!
Please do more, these all sound the kind of books I'll read! Trip to the library I think!
Have you read the Hunger Games trilogy? They are technically children's stories, but I don't know a single person, whether young or old that doesn't love them :)
@TrollyOgre i'm so very joyed to hear that :) it was requested of me to do another one of these videos by a bunch of other people too, you're not alone :D i really love making them too, i do need to take a trip to the library now that you mention it, i just got my proper id card in the mail so i can actually get a library card now :)
You know i haven't heard of that trilogy before, i've just added it to my list of books to read/ get one day though :D i always like to try out a nice story :)
@ilive2hurtu oh i would love to :) making another book recommendation video is on my never ending list of things to do :D thanks so much for requesting :D x
Ooh I love memoirs of a Geisha! Good book suggestions! I remember I really liked the bell jar when I was in highschool, have you read that one? Its by Sylvia Plath.
@CatherineSolo thanks :) it was requested of me to do more favorite book sharing in the future too :D i have to agree, nothing is quite so enticing as a good story :) x
@clair0228 you know i want to say that my husband has that book somewhere, i should ask him because i totally haven't read it yet, it was one of those instances where he ordered it and read it first but didn't put it back on the shelf : / i bet he has it at work :)
Of course I'd subscribe back. I love your channel!
I enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha too ; ) && I totally agree, the movie could have been better, but I still loved the movie version. I'm going to check out the other books you recommended.
@247girltalk thank you :D i still loved the movie version too, the way in which it was shot and the costumes made the story feel more real, i am only sad about the little details left out :D book readers unite! :) <3
@Bellechiki they are all very good books that leave me with a satisfied feeling once i finish reading them (like only a good book can:) i know you love to read! <3 i love watching your videos too girl!
Whenever they make a book into a movie, I always like the book more. Especially when I've read the book first, because I end up sitting there going "they missed that part!" or "they completely left this out!" lol!
@SullenxRiot182 yeah i know, i feel like i'm more fulfilled knowing the whole story before i watch it, the movie makes more sense to me even though it can't live up to how good the book was!
@DOMINIE4EVER i always wrote my name in my books because it's always what my dad did and i did a lot of things like him when i was younger :)
memoirs is more of a winter read for me, when the weather is all cr*ppy outside and you can snuggle under the covers with snackies and read for hours..... i can't wait!
i am soooo sorry i havent messaged u in sooo long! so busy! i love books, i can't wait to get some of the ones u have! i have so many favorite books too!
@DOMINIE4EVER no worries! i keep missing you on aim, i have a tendency to keep it on and walk away (or do something outside), i keep it up because it's the best way to talk with hubby during the day :D i would love to hear about some of your favorite books too :)
@Lizzielle I think memoirs of a geisha looked good, like it was well shot and the costumes were pretty, but yeah that's about it : / lol .... siddhartha is one of those "short and sweet" books in my opinion :D i will try to do these more often, as i think of books to talk about :D i'll add that to my list of videos to do one day :)
Wow hun yur books sound amazing i use to rea alot i want to start reading there is nothindg nicer loseing yuself in a gooood book, its been so long since ive done 7 i recently bought some books i thought id just love & i started one i love ,u inspired me to get my books out hun!!
@fancyladydiane1 i very much agree, reading a great book can be such a good escape :D i need to take my own advice and get my books out so i can finish them too :)
@angelofmusics123 haha yeah, i do. scifi and fantasy are the best escapes for me :D when i was younger, in middle school i loved reading RL Stine, that's about as paranormal as it gets for me :) lmao!
@jknz51 you know neil gaiman is one of my favorite adapted authors, i loved coraline and stardust and i've wanted to read more by him so i should add that book to my list of things to get on our next amazon order :D i like a nice long read, thats why i love my harry potter books so much :)
@cupcakeonawire Oh really?! Oh then American Gods is a must! :D
The Harry Potter books are genius...they were the first books that I read on my own out of school...I was never a reader before but now I can't stop! lol Am always looking for new books! :) xXx
@jknz51 there is nothing to describe the feeling of being immersed in a harry potter book, i've been meaning to read them again, but i say that about all my favorite stories it seems :)
awesome video :) I loved the books you mentioned :) I am a big reader and I kinda want to make a video on books now lol. I am so going to check a few of these out that i havent read. I am not a huge si fi nut but i think the ones you mentioned might be interesting to reads. Memoirs of a Geisha was amazing :).
@fallinfrenzies oh holly you should! i would love to hear about the books you enjoy reading when you have the time :) i'm a big sci-fi and fantasy nerd, i'm so sure you can blame my granny for all the star trek she exposed me to, my hubby is no exception though because we watch star wars at least 2-3 times per month :D lmao.... memoirs was amazing! the movie only fell short because it didn't include enough imo
I was completely obsessed with the Time books when I was young! I went to Borders to get my cousin a birthday present a few weeks ago and was really tempted to get her those, but she just turned nine and I wasn't quite sure she was ready for them yet.
@GirlsABoyes i think i had just turned 10 or 11 when i started reading them and i remember it being kind of tough at first, i've read them every so often since then (and they obviously got easier to read as i got older:), but yeah! i still love them to this day and it's so very cool that you love them too! <3
@DailyPSA hey thanks! i know i need to read more often to talk about the books i love too :) i haven't really read any macabre novels, as far as i can tell the only authors i've really read out of that genre was edgar allan poe, who i'm quite fond of :)
@DailyPSA I'm sincerely glad you enjoy it :) i was starting to get feedback from people that were kind of tired of seeing beauty videos back to back, and it was requested and i figured- why not? :) i'm working on a craft tutorial video later this weekend, which should be challenging but fun to watch as well i think :D thank you for your lovely comments x :)
