Wow now I really respect this movie even though I think that it was lame. But a huge amount of work went into making it this lame. And the studio were clearly the ones who wanted it this way. This much talent, hell they could have had the most badass wolverine/gambit movie ever. But they DIDNT, caaaaaaaaaause its aaaaaaalways got to be faaaaaaaaaaaaamily frieeeeeeeendly and peeeeeeeeegeeeeeeeeee DERP-TEEN.

That first scene in the casino would have had so much more impact if Gambit's eyes would have been correct. Can you imagine him taking his hat off, looking up at Logan with that delicious smirk on his face coupled with his red on black eyes? Drop dead sexy!

I dont care what anyone says, Taylor Kitsch is THE perfect actor to play Gambit. I'm crossing my fingers that if/when the powers that be decide to give Gambit his own movie that they cast Taylor for the lead role. And I agree, the best part of the Wolverine movie WAS Gambit (even though they didnt give his character much screen time)

Gambit has always been my favorite character from the X-men franchise and i have to say i'm kinda pissed that after 3 HUGE movies, Gambit finally gets his chance in Origins and they give the character less than ten minutes of screen time. It's bullshit. Taylor Kitsch did an absolutely AWESOME job as Gambit onscreen, I just would have liked to see more of the character, as the history and development from the comics warrants a decent sized presence in the film. so... FAIL.

I have had a crush on Gambit and I've been a huge X-Men fan since I was 8 years old. I had been wishing for Gambit since the first X-Men film and I went crazy when I first heard he was gonna be in Wolverine - Origins. I think Taylor was a perfect choice to play Gambit. Damn good actor playing a damn good character. Was disappointed in the movie but not in the actor's perfomances (Jackman, Kitsch, Schreiber, Huston, and Reynolds did awesome jobs!) I reallllly wished there was more Taylor and that they didn't do that crap to Deadpool. But other than that, it was pretty awesome...I LOVE TAYLOR KITSCH!!! lol.

2 things I would like to point out about gambit is this... a card cheat would not do any kind of flashy florishes around a group of gamblers, that always shows suspection and the gamblers would not want to play with that person. A Card cheat would be sneaky in order to win everytime. If there going to make a cane look like the bo staff... make it retractable, that way it looks sneaky and mysterious. Thats the way I see gambit as a con man trying to live day to day.
