I heard it was banned for a year or so, well...as long as these people sign waivers before doing this so no one gets sued or hurt except the crazy people doing it.

@haiKarma No one has ever died or been perminently injured, though a few people have broken bones, sprained ankles or got concussion doing it, I'm not sure how often that happens but I hear one year all 4 or 5 ambulancies that were there had to take people to the hospital and immidatly come back to pick up a second load. I hope to do it some day lol.

Its been officially cancelled due to health and saftey reasons. Not health and saftey of the participants though- its the health and safet of the spectators. It was cancelled last year as well- first time in hundreds of years (It even went on during the wars when most other sporting events were cancelled)

This is basically unofficial, with people trying to keep the long running tradition alive in the face of ridiculous health and saftey laws.
