I just remembered another "foodie" movie that I saw which you might enjoy - it's "Dinner Rush" with Danny Aiello. And yes, my family is HIGHLY dysfunctional.
I love food movies. It's the same with porn - I can't stop watching. Must be something about people enjoying and satisfying their primal urges. Anyways... I just put up a clip of Big Night which has been a favorite of mine since I first saw it many years ago. I also loved Eat Drink Man Woman which is pretty much the only other "foodie" movie I know - so glad I came across your video so I can find some more foodie movies. Cheers!

I would also recommend Tampopo about a ramen shop owner in Japan in search for a new broth and noodle recipe for her fledgling noodle shop.
