The idea of communism isn't the same as the idea of religion, communism was meant to be a society where everyone gets as much money as each other and is equal, but it never works out so people have to do things like kill to keep people in line.

I'm no expert on Communism, but I've heard (on the History Channel I think) that on paper, Communism is a wonderful idea. Implementation of that idea leaves much to be desired however. The reason I think Communism fails is because the people in charge don't want to either lose their power, or have it questioned. I think that Communism has great appeal, but until we as a race can overcome our want of power, it will never truly work.
