Although lock-on/auto-aim will aim towards the center of an enemy's body, when you're locking on to Fatman while he's on all fours, you will be aiming for his head, due to the angle.

HELP! I've done this practically the same way, using a somersault knockdown instead because it reliably sets him facing the right direction, I then run in front, headshot him and take out his legs. HOWEVER, when I go to the position you go to (I used his head as reference instead of his arms, because he quickly moves his arms), he still shoots me and then skates away. Is it the initial takedown that's the problem?

I could agree for HARD and below for all except Solidus(I can't beat him on Hard for now).

On Extreme and especeally European Extreme,something tells me that they are incredably difficult.

@SupremeGameslord Indeed, considering that Fatman misses everytime he gets up and starts shooting in this vid. I remember even on Easy he'd riddle you with bullets in the same situation. Not accusing the poster of modding, but I find it hard to believe he misses every single time.

@theconjob This strategy works regardless of difficulty. It's just a oversight on their behalf and I exploited it. And you could argue that Fatman's aim is off because his head is full of tranquilizer darts.

I can promise you it's no mod. And other people that have posted here have got it to work. I did mention that there were some specifics, though, a few pages back. You have to be standing in the exact right position when Fatman gets up or he will shoot you and skate off.

I already past her. Remember, you return to the insertion point to freeze a bomb. And when you freeze it, you head back to the elevator. There, fortune stops you and blasts you. I am playing it on my Xbox. And it sucks, because when she blows stuff up, the smoke lags the game. So i feel like i am running on water. By the way, i did this trick with fatman and he does 3 things (1 of 3 things) gets up, dances or shoots you or immediately skates away. 70 percent he skates away. So not working.

It's distance. The game's repsonse for what fatman does depends on raiden's distance from fatman. Make sure you're decently far away.
