  • Do not worry too much about that, the important thing is to keep advocating for attention about the situation in Darfur. I am very glad to have had the opportunity to say some few words about the concrete situation as seen from the camp population, with their needs for water, firewood, food and protection. I hope you guys can keep publishing documentaries like this!

  • I recently discovered this video, where my name is wrongly quoted as "Alfredo Zumiago"....And for the record: it is Alfredo ZAMUDIO. Since I am here, I could tell you that I do remember the day of the interview, I was very tired after coordinating a humanitarian response after a fire which burnt more than 60 huts/houses, and you can see some of that conmotion in the background.

  • @Alfredoarica Our apologies Alfredo. I will see what we can do about making the correction. Thank you for pointing out the error.

  • The new movie Attack on Darfur really helps portray the seriousness of genocide.

  • True. It looks as if only the basics are being provided. I wonder why more cannot be done? Why can't water be brought to the people?

  • Is it just me, or is anyone else wandering if those peacekeeping vehicles could be fitted with some sort of trailer, to carry more firewood, and reduce the number of trips, or maybe help the infirm?

  • I meant a trailer equipped with a quick-release device that could disengage the trailer from the SUV by the driver in case of emergency.
