i saw Special Beat Service in 1992.... all the Wakeling Roger & Specials together singing all the beat and specials songs was amazing! (except for the mexican cholo gangbanger ska converts trying to "Beat" everyone up in the mosh)
I almost didn't go to this gig as I wanted to see Dave Wakeling. So glad I did as Rankin Roger is better! He's not only got a corking voice that knocks DW into a hat, but comes across as a lovely bloke too. Look forward to the next one.
