@Lavenderrose73 Your post reminds me of a time when Peter Jennings was hosting a program called "Search for the Real Jesus". They asked many people who they thought Jesus was, and most all of them didn't know Him, haven't heard of Him, didn't care who He was......asking a bunch of pagans who God Almighty Is & I don't think they ever asked a Christian, a person who DOES know Jesus. Interesting, a bunch of pagans who didn't know??? Say it ain't so. I don't think Peter ever found Him!!
@JesusHoldMyHand1 Man, I'm barely familiar with his (Peter Jennings') name, let alone had no idea he'd done that! I'm sorry he didn't go to the people he should have gone to. tsk tsk tsk
@Lavenderrose73 Peter Jennings was a very well known news broadcaster on ABC for about 30 years. Died of lung cancer a few years after 911. The History Channel, PBS, etc. all have their hearts set on misrepresenting Jesus Christ. None of them believe He IS GOD. They don't understand the Bible, nor do they know the Lord. I do have to say that A&E has had several programs about the Lord & Jeanne Simmons read Scriptures from the Bible & they WERE Accurate!! Thank You A&E
@JesusHoldMyHand1 Ok, so anything about Jesus on A&E is safe, huh? I wouldn't know, I never really invested much time on the News as a child; I was more interested in cartoons. I STILL have no interest in the news: I don't believe in taking Prozac and other antidepressants and I wish for it to STAY THAT WAY!!
So anyway, I appreciate the tip on that stuff though. Shoot, PBS?? The place where you could watch the old Chronicles of Narnia movies from time to time?? THAT's a shame and a half.
Also he just contradicted himself, in video 1 or 2 he mocked Tim Layhey about the clothes being left behind and body parts, then at 3:15 he says about 'cannot wait 'til I receive my new body at the rapture and be with Christ'
@TheMrGobble What is your problem. Of course we get a new resurection body. He never mocked Tim. No where in the Bible does it say that our clothes are going to fall off in the Rapture. We just don't know. We just know we're going to be changed, getting a new body like Jesus Christ, one that will never have aches or pains, never get infections, never, ever to wear out; will last forever & ever.
@JesusHoldMyHand1 I've always honestly figured our clothes WOULD be left behind lying in piles everywhere because they are objects of this world, as the Bible of says we came naked and we will return naked. Except I imagine we'll vanish without our clothes and then find ourselves in the air with whatever clothes Jesus gives us. Yes, I think there are going to be clothes left everywhere, but I don't think this guy was mocking anyone. It just appears to make sense because we can't take it with us.
Such a shame I cant watch anymore. His mocking of people with different viewpoints leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. I prefer a preacher to tell the word of God, not mock ANYBODY.
"The Discovery Channel needs to discover the truth." Oh AMEN TO THAT!!! x DDD
