Why would new keys be any better than cranking up the stock keys? Its all about twisting the bar more. Same amount of twist but using more bolt to get there. Is it a big deal how much bolt is used. If it is why would they give you that long of a bolt?
Torsion bars have absolutely nothing to do with ride comfort, that is DAMPERS people. Did they even tell him what they did or did they just hand him a script?
so...the theory here is crazy the t bars and a higher angle is worse for the truck because it makes them too pre-loaded and too stiff...yet a key CUT at the same angle as a cranked adjustment bolt wont do that. Makes complete sense.
@xDETROITxCITYx Ya I'd love to spend 6 grand plus on a dixon bros long travel kit for my Ranger, asshat. Sorry, my options are a lil limited for a lift and I definitely won't be racing the baja, just need a lil more room for 32's.
Cranking the torsion bars wont make the ride harder unless you jam the suspension up so high that the shocks are topped out. There will be a slightly stiffer feeling with a mild lift as the A-arms have to move out and up at the same time instead of just moving up. Winding up the torsion bar bolts does not add pre-load as the weight of the truck on the springs has not changed.

Pre-load is added when you add weight to the vehicle (Winch, HD Bumper, Cargo) Or when the springs have been cranked too much (Topped out shocks).
