    By far you are the best cook in this whole wide world. I was a big loser in the cooking field but after watching your videos i have become a professional.   • Hi Bajia, Really like your recepies but now after looking at my ever increasing waist, i have made a reolution to cut/limit carbs as much as possible. I was really struggling with ideas and the only thing that comes to mind is stir fried veges (+meat). Since i have regarded you as one of the best cooks around, I thought I should check up with you. Any healthy recepies/ideas will be greatly appreciated. And if i shed some kilos with your recepies, i will buy you a drink...:-)

  • I tried your dish today. I invented two things with ur dish - i added lil cinnemon, one cardemom and lil two other indian spices while mutton was steaming in garlic water and removed those spices after 2 mins. &. I added fresh fried onions to the kadai along with rest of the things that you had added with Tomatoes.

    Trust me Bajja following ur recipee, what i made today made me very proud of myself. May God bless u and keep sharing such amazing recipees for us to try too.

  • @tarushasaxena, acha great :) you can alter the recipes to your liking but always keep the original recipe with you and try basic thing first, if not satisfied, alter it. In our todays cuisine we see a big mess just because of that. Be perfect in traditional and create whatever you like later. hold on to what our forfathers left with us.

  • Bajia in Peshawer they dont add yogurt or turemeric..this is a traditional pathan dish n i am one. Instead of blocking me try it without those things added, the rest of recipe is correct.

  • jis ilaqe ki dish hoti hai sab se acha use wahan ki log he pakana jante hain. yeh america se aaye hoye recipe hai, bahir ke mumalik ke piyaz aur meat ka taste aur he hai. its possible that they have made alterations to suit :) I will try, waise karahi her ilaqe ki hai bhi alag alag, balkeh kebab aur pulao bhi.

  • @Bajiascooking u r right about taste of certain things being different, i am in the US so can tell the difference...but mutton is usually good. We also dont add garam masala in authentic recipe. First we cook meat in garlic and salt w/o oil,once meat is tender and dried, add oil and increase heat adding chopped tomatos, ginger finally sliced and green chillies halved along with red pepper powder.Cover on high three minutes till tomatos r tender, than stir to make a dry gravy, garnish wid dhania.

  • @tanoo101 Also you tube namak mandi karahi...thats the center of karahi cooking in peshawer....people from all over Pakistan come to eat it...tau do chk it out.....jaisay aap apnay purkhon kai tareekon ko yaad rakhtee hain isshee terhan yeh recipe bhee origional hai aur zamanay say challi aa rahee hai. :)

  • where tomatoes are used yogurt is not used, usually. you can use either yogurt or tomatoes. in hot countries tomatoes wala kharab ho ga jald dahi wala naheen hoga. han authantic recipes ko hum change naheen ker sakte. i will try. i like mutton as well thats what i cook.

  • it is going to take long, you may have to add water and it might change its taste. add one cup water before adding yogurt cover it full on md- low heat and see. good luck

    I chanced upon your videos just two weeks ago and since then, I have cooked one of your dishes everyday for dinner. When I got married, I had no idea how to cook and nobody would help teach me the basics of Pakistani cooking. Even the website endorsing Pakistani cooking were nothing like the traditional taste. In desperation, i bought an Indian cookbook that had over a thousand recipes to please my husband and in laws but that backfired badly.

  • no dhanya powder in this recipe, check again after tomatoes i add slat chilli and haldi. at 2:22 i think
