  • Thanks for post this. I really like the 70s and those matches sent me to a great decade on British football. That Wolves with McCalliog, Dougan, Hibbit, John Richards,... were amazing

  • Your are welcome mate. Yeah, people who envy the success Man Utd has had in recent years, has to remember that you guys, waited a long time, for another Championship, before you finally started winning again, so I guess patience was rewarded.

  • Yes, many thanks for posting. Great teams, all three of them, and what an atmosphere too. This was at a time when my team (Man Utd) had won no major honours since 1967/68 but, in the meantime, there was so much great football around. Shame we never saw as much then as today, when football is on most days, either on Sky or terrestrial channels. Anywaym brilliant stuff CadenWolves, many thanks again!

  • My first ever away game, happy days

  • chivers!!!!! what a player

  • Thanks for the posting. I was at both those matches and it seems an age ago! That was the last great Wolves side. Let's see how far McCarthy's yougsters can go..

  • Doubt the ref would be fit enough for the game today! :-)

  • @RICHTAYL This is the same official that was running the line during the 1966 World Cup Final and famously gave THAT goal.....not sure how he coped reffing this match 'cos he "only spoke Russian and Turkish", apparently! :-)

  • my favourite team from enlis football.........I'm arentinian and i like Wolves

  • @pablotjob Great to hear it! Keep following the Wanderers !!

  • Chivers, Gilzean, Jennings - happy days!

  • the wolves shall rise again!
