Emirates has regular rotations at NY JFK, and I've been lucky (as a passenger window watching), to view the Emirates aircraft on just about every visit. The rudder deserves it's own zip code!
Not as beautiful as a 747-8i, but one cannot deny the immense volume of the 380. Fantastic to watch it in action. Thanks for posting the aerial footage!

@DukeVonKtm An American Airlines flight had smoke in the cockpit and had to return to LAX. It landed safely and the passengers exited via chutes onto the runway, it didn't taxi to the gate because of danger of fire.
On a side note, at 1:08, you can see the Boeing 757 that had to make an emergency landing at LAX shortly after its take off due to the smoke in the cockpit. At least they allowed the A380 to land..
The reason Emirates can't fly the A380 from LAX/SFO from/to Dubai is plain and simple: The A380 doesn't have that range. It's maximum range stops somewhere short of Washington, D.C., which is why it's able to pull JFK to Dubai, but not longer.
Currently, only Boeing 777LR/ER have that range capability to pull a non-stop from Dubai to LAX/SFO...

and that's the only reason you think is fake? , the reason of why two only engines go reverse its because the engine's 1 and 4 are out of the runway, and if this engine's go reverse the sand, grass and other stuff that may be on the runway can enter to the engine. that the reason why this 2 engines dont go reverse.
Ok then smartass the wingspan of the Airbus is 79.8 m and the width of that runway is 83.85 so all 4 engines would go inrevers without blowing things.
And yes im a dork for spending an hour and a half doing research on it.

The reason only 2 engines go into reverse thrust when landing is simply because it doesnt need 4 engines to slow down. Why have all 4 engines reverse when you only need 2? Its cheaper to only have 2 reverse if that's all you need.
Also the engines aren't at the wing tips. So your right about them not picking up things. The wing span maybe 79.8 m but the width between the 2 outboard engines is alot less.
And Why did the aircraft oull off with the multiple chances it had its a requirement you pull off as soon as possible at busy times and lax is a very busy air port
The A380 has only inner reverse thrusters. The outer engines do not have reverse thrust as they might pull debris into the engine. I saw her making her approach LIVE when it was on the news. Thats why people are correcting you. The american AA that was on the other runway had an emergency landing due to smoke in the cockpit, 1 hour after departure it made a 180 and landed back at lax.....however, the A380 made no emergency landing, that was pretty much routine.
@TheFrontierAirliner Only two thrust reversers are required on the A380 due to the efficiency of the brakes and low approach speeds. Having only two reversers also prevents any objects from damaging the fan blades as the outboard engines hang over the width of the runway.
@TheFrontierAirliner you might wanna do some more research. 4 TRU's (Reversers) are not required for certication by FAA. The reason for it only having 2 TRU's is of a 2-fold nature, a) saves weight, and b) FOD...

because only two engines go reverse when there are supposed to be all engines in reverse due to faa rules

and that's the only reason you think is fake? , the reason of why two only engines go reverse its because the engine's 1 and 4 are out of the runway, and if this engine's go reverse the sand, grass and other stuff that may be on the runway can enter to the engine. that the reason why this 2 engines dont go reverse.

Ok then smartass the wingspan of the Airbus is 79.8 m and the width of that runway is 83.85 so all 4 engines would go inrevers without blowing things.
And yes im a dork for spending an hour and a half doing research on it.

this can't be fake because there is no way he could have done this on the computer. it is very high quality and on a simulator there is no way to have an emergency landing like at 1:10

The reason only 2 engines go into reverse thrust when landing is simply because it doesnt need 4 engines to slow down. Why have all 4 engines reverse when you only need 2? Its cheaper to only have 2 reverse if that's all you need.
Also the engines aren't at the wing tips. So your right about them not picking up things. The wing span maybe 79.8 m but the width between the 2 outboard engines is alot less.
So i agree with you totally.

The A380 has only inner reverse thrusters. The outer engines do not have reverse thrust as they might pull debris into the engine. I saw her making her approach LIVE when it was on the news. Thats why people are correcting you. The american AA that was on the other runway had an emergency landing due to smoke in the cockpit, 1 hour after departure it made a 180 and landed back at lax.....however, the A380 made no emergency landing, that was pretty much routine.

@TheFrontierAirliner Only two thrust reversers are required on the A380 due to the efficiency of the brakes and low approach speeds. Having only two reversers also prevents any objects from damaging the fan blades as the outboard engines hang over the width of the runway.

@TheFrontierAirliner you might wanna do some more research. 4 TRU's (Reversers) are not required for certication by FAA. The reason for it only having 2 TRU's is of a 2-fold nature, a) saves weight, and b) FOD...

Fuck no their not! Qatar is SHIT. I flew their first class and it sucked . Emirates has showers and bars and lounges on their planes what does Qatar have? They have a fucking fatass goat on their tail as their logo, they might be a five star airline, but that is really emirates. EK should get the fifth star and Qatar should be a 1 star airline.
