I'd like to see a Zelda game that focuses a little more on Ganon's early life and how/why he becomes the new "Ganon".

I think it could be quite interesting.

I was f***** pissed off as hell when I found out that you can easily beat Gannon with the fishing rod.......well since I'm already typing, a fun fact about the fight with Gannon outside of Hyrule is that if you use hacks to jump out of the barrier surrounding you Gannon will follow you and while your outside you can go back on Epona and Zelda will try (TRY) to shoot light arrows at him.

@Fr0zenNightmare There's a glitch with the game that if you pull out the fishing rod Ganondwarf's follows the bait of the fishing rod as he's meant to follow the sword to judge your movements but gets confused and follows the bait instead.

Does anybody else notice that the way Ganondorf dies in Twilight Princess and in Wind Waker is exactly the same? I think TP is just an alternate ending. After all, every Zelda game after is on water and/or has the WW look to it. Even Link's tunic is the same.

@ThornHailsnap TP is the "Child" timeline from OOT where the hero exists, thus Hyrule was not destroyed in a great flood a la Windwaker, which picks off from the "Adult" timeline where there is no hero. WW and TP basically take different routes at the same time due to the split caused by Zelda at the end of OOT.

do you know why challenges like the 3-heart run were invented? this gives us gamers a challenge when we play the game again. gamers like me enjoy a challenge like the 3-heart run. unfortunately, I took no damage during the final boss, and you can only defeat him with the master sword, so i see no way to make Ganondorf more difficult to fight.

He's only died in four games. The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. In all others he's either sealed, not in game, or is not alive during the game. It makes it tricky though, as Ganon has died more times then he's come back to life. There has to be a lot of speculation.
