Just let the other guys have 20 seconds to be heard, you know? @England5is5the5best your fucking ignorent limy ass and fucked up teeth can suck a horse cunt and die your just menstrating all over good bands because you cant play an instrment so go bleed all over people who cant fucking put on a condom such as the jonas brothers
@lazrokit1 Even after the "old school" vocalists pass away, I'll, FOR ONE, be, STILL, listening to "old school" metal! I have NO PROBLEM ignoring the so-called "new breed" or "future" (??) of metal! I, WITHOUT QUESTION, have BETTER bands or things to spend MY money on! Speaking of the so-called "future" of rock/metal, even though I was born and raised in Seattle, I DO NOT LIKE Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and/or Nirvana!
Amen brothers, he was a King among men, I saw Dio in '85 twice on the Sacred Heart Tour, in '92 with "Sabbath" and again in 2008 with "Heaven and Hell". Hands down one of the finest singers and songwriters in rock history! The first 4 Rainbow records alone stand as a legacy of his brilliance....
Where is the actual Live Evil version of this song. It was recorded for video as Dio said on this recording, but we have yet to see this. WHEN will it fucking come out?
@tujungite Unfortunately never, it seems. There are only short bits of the footage around on the net. The reason is probably beacuse of the massive re-recording and overdubs done on the released Live Evil tracks, the video footage simply doesn't match.
@lockone1977 Frustrating. I guess we're lucky to have what remains, which is quite a bit. I was also looking for the Live evil video for Children of the Sea but that also is elusive.
I have the entire Sabbath set for this show. It is NOT the Mob Rules tour, and it certainly isn't from Live Evil.
It's from the fucking Heaven adn Hell tour of 1980. New York, or Rhode Island. Somewhere up there. One of Vinnie's first shows (A month after bill left.)
@GangstaLink Dude...you can go back and look at every single photograph of Black Sabbath circa Heavan & Hell...you will never find Dio wearing that stage costume....not until late 82 early 83...he even wore that in his early Dio days. Check it out and get back.
No way! It's Mob Rules Tour. I have photos. What band in history has used the same exact stage set up in repititon? This was when they recorded "Live Evil", check the Live Evil CD out and compare it to this video.
Wrong. Mob Rules Tour stage was bigger, with a bigger lighting rig, and didn't have the crosses on the sides.. Besides, this is from the Movie "Black and Blue", which I saw as a Midnight movie, Featuring tunes from Blue Oyster Cult AND Black Sabbath, filmed in New York.
It's the Mob Rules tour. I was there in Dallas May 12th, 1982 and they had the same exact stage set up and costumes. Why would a band use the same costumes and stage setup 2 years later? It's from the Live Evil video which was recorded in Seattle, Dallas and I believe San Antonio.
Actually, it was the Heaven and Hell tour, to be specific it was billed as the "Black and Blue Tour" which as you probably know, featured Sabbath and B.O.C. This clip is from the movie "Black and Blue" which was shown in theaters as a midnight show in 1982. It has never been released. I've never even seen a full bootleg. Iommi said he doesn't have the rights or footage. To me, it is the evasive holy grail of rock.
i hope that heaven and hell will release a dvd from the "live evil" tour. i saw someone on ebay sell a copy for $300 buck or best offer. it would be a great tribute to ronnie! r.i.p dio
I was so pissed when I heard Dio Had passed.I Seen dio with heaven and hell in 2008 and in 2009. they were killer shows and the band was tight as a drum. they seemed to be having alot of fun playing together. I was so much looking forward to more albums and tours. RIP Dio.I miss ya already
@nostalgia43 No I never got a chance to see sabbath in the early 80's or dio for that matter.I wish I had been aware that dio had rejoined sabbath in the early 90'sI would have loved to see the dehumanizer tour.I never even heard of that alum tell 2000.My sister seen sbbath in 1980 with corpions backing them. thaT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT SHOW TO SEE.i WAS OLD ENOUGH TO SEE THESES SHOWS BUT i HAD NO money back then
@smithdsmit........... Tell your sister I said she rocks!!. That was my favorite year for concerts...Hail to 1980 and it's precise birth of Heavy Metal.!!
@nostalgia43 she also seen ozzy with rhoads in milwaukee.jan 82.her and i seen heaven and hell together in 09. her son went to..we also went to see rush and scorpions together last summer. thats are new family outing activity we do together now. we go to concerts. my nephew was born in 83 so he missed all the good bands first time around.Im glad some of them are still around. I know there are alot of ozzy haters but now that dio has passedI hope they patch things up.I love sabbath and want more
@smithdsmit .. Fuck, she's right on..Good for you and your family..I saw Ozzy countless times, including 78' with Iommi, later with Rhoades..I loved Thin Lizzy, which I saw in 83'.
I'm amazed Ozzy lived longer than Dio....The man defies the odds !!
@nostalgia43 he hasnt lived longer then Dio though.Dio died at 67. ozzy is 62. lets hope he lives a long time.Ive lost some respect for ozzy over the yrs. but he still rocks and does a great show
I remember that Black & Blue tour. I didn't get to go. That was the era of so much great heavy metal... Think Lizzy/Renegade; Judas Priest/Screaming For a Vengeance; Iron Maiden/Killers; Motorhead/Iron Fist; Sabbath/Mob Rules; AC/DC's Back in Black; etc. No one's invented a time machine yet, so I can go back an relive my happiness? I remember buying the Dio Sabbath RECORDS new for $7.59 at the local store. Good ole days! LOL!
I saw Black Sabbath in Aug 1982 at Merriwaether Post Pavilion. I'm confused about the comment below because the concert shirt I bought specifically said "Live Evil" on it and listed several tour dates. I always thought that they continued the Mob Rules tour, but had decided that they wanted to record a live album during that tour and, while they were recording for the live album, they called it the "Live Evil" portion of the tour (at the end of the Mob Rules tour). Does that make sense?
YOU ARE 110% RIGHT.I saw them at the Meadowlands Arena in Jersy in Aug 82 and I still the T-shirt with LIVE EVIL I was 16 back then my first concert and I saw them again with my 13 year old son in Perth Western Australia in Aug 07.But now no I also like White Power music too so SIEG HEIL my aryan brothers
If you saw Sabbath in '82. It was the mob rules tour. The Sab-Cult tour The black and blue tour was 1980. And this is from Nassau colliseum. 1980. It mixes songs between Sab and b.o.c. I have the official japenese vhs tape. Very poorly edited. And only about 45 mins. from each band. Probably why it has yet to be released as dvd.
I see why you think. This vid is mis-labeled . I just sent a reply but it didn't go through. But this from Nassau colliseum in Long Island. The mob rules tour was '81-82. The Sab.B.o.c tour was 1980. That was called the black and blue tour.
The greatest Heavy Metal singer of all.

Where is the actual Live Evil version of this song. It was recorded for video as Dio said on this recording, but we have yet to see this. WHEN will it fucking come out?
tujungite 1 year ago
@tujungite Unfortunately never, it seems. There are only short bits of the footage around on the net. The reason is probably beacuse of the massive re-recording and overdubs done on the released Live Evil tracks, the video footage simply doesn't match.
lockone1977 1 year ago
@lockone1977 Frustrating. I guess we're lucky to have what remains, which is quite a bit. I was also looking for the Live evil video for Children of the Sea but that also is elusive.

I have the entire Sabbath set for this show. It is NOT the Mob Rules tour, and it certainly isn't from Live Evil.
It's from the fucking Heaven adn Hell tour of 1980. New York, or Rhode Island. Somewhere up there. One of Vinnie's first shows (A month after bill left.)
GangstaLink 1 year ago
@GangstaLink Dude...you can go back and look at every single photograph of Black Sabbath circa Heavan & Hell...you will never find Dio wearing that stage costume....not until late 82 early 83...he even wore that in his early Dio days. Check it out and get back.

RIP RJ Dio, you will be missed.
Camaron47 1 year ago
No way! It's Mob Rules Tour. I have photos. What band in history has used the same exact stage set up in repititon? This was when they recorded "Live Evil", check the Live Evil CD out and compare it to this video.
JohnnyTruthSmaksHard 1 year ago
@JohnnyTruthSmaksHard Yep. Mob Rules. I was there.
br549sample 1 year ago
@JohnnyTruthSmaksHard
EbolaSandwich 1 year ago
It's the Mob Rules tour. I was there in Dallas May 12th, 1982 and they had the same exact stage set up and costumes. Why would a band use the same costumes and stage setup 2 years later? It's from the Live Evil video which was recorded in Seattle, Dallas and I believe San Antonio.
JohnnyTruthSmaksHard 1 year ago
I mean 2 years earlier...in response to the !980 Show.
JohnnyTruthSmaksHard 1 year ago
Actually, it was the Heaven and Hell tour, to be specific it was billed as the "Black and Blue Tour" which as you probably know, featured Sabbath and B.O.C. This clip is from the movie "Black and Blue" which was shown in theaters as a midnight show in 1982. It has never been released. I've never even seen a full bootleg. Iommi said he doesn't have the rights or footage. To me, it is the evasive holy grail of rock.

i hope that heaven and hell will release a dvd from the "live evil" tour. i saw someone on ebay sell a copy for $300 buck or best offer. it would be a great tribute to ronnie! r.i.p dio

smithdsmit 1 year ago 10
@smithdsmit........ I'll never forget this show, early eighties..Did you see Black Sabbath back then? I missed the 2008 performances..Love Dio,man.
nostalgia43 1 year ago
@nostalgia43 No I never got a chance to see sabbath in the early 80's or dio for that matter.I wish I had been aware that dio had rejoined sabbath in the early 90'sI would have loved to see the dehumanizer tour.I never even heard of that alum tell 2000.My sister seen sbbath in 1980 with corpions backing them. thaT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT SHOW TO SEE.i WAS OLD ENOUGH TO SEE THESES SHOWS BUT i HAD NO money back then
smithdsmit 1 year ago
@smithdsmit........... Tell your sister I said she rocks!!. That was my favorite year for concerts...Hail to 1980 and it's precise birth of Heavy Metal.!!
nostalgia43 1 year ago
@nostalgia43 she also seen ozzy with rhoads in milwaukee.jan 82.her and i seen heaven and hell together in 09. her son went to..we also went to see rush and scorpions together last summer. thats are new family outing activity we do together now. we go to concerts. my nephew was born in 83 so he missed all the good bands first time around.Im glad some of them are still around. I know there are alot of ozzy haters but now that dio has passedI hope they patch things up.I love sabbath and want more
smithdsmit 1 year ago
@smithdsmit .. Fuck, she's right on..Good for you and your family..I saw Ozzy countless times, including 78' with Iommi, later with Rhoades..I loved Thin Lizzy, which I saw in 83'.
I'm amazed Ozzy lived longer than Dio....The man defies the odds !!
nostalgia43 1 year ago
@nostalgia43 he hasnt lived longer then Dio though.Dio died at 67. ozzy is 62. lets hope he lives a long time.Ive lost some respect for ozzy over the yrs. but he still rocks and does a great show
smithdsmit 1 year ago
This isn't Live Evil and it isn't 1982 either.
It's Heaven and Hell from the Black 'N' Blue tour with Blue Oyster Cult in 1980
charlesrenniemacki 1 year ago
@charlesrenniemacki

Does that make sense?
lidoplace 2 years ago
YOU ARE 110% RIGHT.I saw them at the Meadowlands Arena in Jersy in Aug 82 and I still the T-shirt with LIVE EVIL I was 16 back then my first concert and I saw them again with my 13 year old son in Perth Western Australia in Aug 07.But now no I also like White Power music too so SIEG HEIL my aryan brothers
nadur29 2 years ago
There was no live evil tour. They broke up during the mixing of the live album.
gethsenamane 2 years ago
