When I was playing this game and got to this battle.. and heard the music playing.. i had to litterally turn my speakers up... I never have heard a song so epic for a Final Boss in my fucking life, and it fit every emotion that you were thinking all at once. But more then anything.. once you heard this song, you KNEW that shit just got real. And that you were not only staring death in the face, but you were fighting against it.

But! We'll have a Persona fighting game, by Arc System Works, and Persona 4: The Golden on Vita, and a P4 anime, so that'll make that wait less painful right? :)

DDS and persona 4 are great games and i suggest both oh and to those how are interested in DDS there is a way to 1 man the final boss it just takes a little farming for certain stat boosting items. Still way hard though oh and duh great song :P

Persona 4 is my favourite though. It pretty much fixes all the problems with P3 and is just overall awesome. :)

Also, there is a PSP remake of Persona 2 Innocent Sin coming out in Japan soon and I've heard it's a great game(I've never played it ^^). Hopefully it will come out in US and Europe later this year.

Ah well, beat Nyx's ass, and get started with P4! It's my favourite PS2 game :D

@darkrose834 Definitely! The game may seem strange from it's basic premise (you shoot yourself to summon Personas), but it's a great buy. The quirks in the game are what make it lovable. Plus, most video game magazines give it excellent ratings. I recommend, though, that you get Persona 3 FES if you're serious about getting the game. FES has the same gameplay as P3, but it also has an added quest after you beat the normal game. Hope this was helpful!

@darkrose834 It's the gimmick of the game. It's suppose to be "risque" to attract an older audience. Sadly, there is no other method of summoning monsters. Of course, you could go through the game using normal attacks, but that would be nearly impossible towards the end. In Persona 4, you use cards to summon monsters instead of guns. I bought P4 first because I wasn't hot about the whole "shooting yourself" thing either.

@darkrose834 the question answers it's self....think about it, have you ever seen some one in a game show or book ( read if book) shoot their selfs to summon something? It's so original, and keeps that dark mood to the game which makes it all the more greater overall.

@RPGMusicStudios Sorry to be such a ass about this but I believe its underating the game by calling the The Extra story a extra quest. It is all in all a epiloge or even a sequal, but by no means just a "extra" quest. It gives you a sense of understanding of what happened to the characters if you were really into the story, so hearing it being called jut a quest irks me, but I mean no offence to you.

If you want the original that included the artbook and P3 OST (NA ver. but the JP was more complete), that's sold out unless you go to your local video game specialty store or ebay since ATLUS never reprints stuff.

Otherwise, there's a ton of copies of P3 FES, which is basically the original with extra content, and a sequel which goes from the conclusion of the original game.
