If that's actually a REAL GT40 that had to be quite expensive, or it could be an exact replica A.K.A. a kit car that is just like it. I'm thinking the latter since original GT40's are VERY expensive.

Of course not, but they had to build road cars to homologate the racing cars. F.ex, in 1968 at least 50 had to be built for road use to allow participation. These did not race in Le Mans, but were barely road legal race cars.

You'll be surprised by some owners that do drive them, just like James Glickenhaus. He drives both his real Le Mans racer GT40 MK1V and Ferrari P4 which is worth maybe 10 million dollars, not to mention his "cheap" Ferrari P4/5 thats worth 5 million.
