You're probably not the same as you were 4 years ago, I know I'm not, but it doesn't mean that you're "not being yourself" in either version lol. She's had several life experiences that changed her into what she is now - just like any other normal person (though with different experiences since everyone has different experiences anyway).
@bedourz Exactly. I look at myself in 5 year intervals, and have been completely different in each one. Part of growing up. You learn to love different things, and adapt to that. People need to relax. She's still very young, and whether it's a phase or a part of her growing up, that's only a piece of road, among her journey in life.

@Spiddums I'm pretty sure she's being herself here. I'm also pretty sure she's being herself now. This was 4 years ago. You're probably not the same as you were 4 years ago, I know I'm not, but it doesn't mean that you're "not being yourself" in either version lol. She's had several life experiences that changed her into what she is now - just like any other normal person (though with different experiences since everyone has different experiences anyway).

@bedourz Exactly. I look at myself in 5 year intervals, and have been completely different in each one. Part of growing up. You learn to love different things, and adapt to that. People need to relax. She's still very young, and whether it's a phase or a part of her growing up, that's only a piece of road, among her journey in life.

@bedourz I blame it on Gossip Girl that kinda catapulted her into a mainstream light after awhile she later died her hair blonde and became more punk because she is rebelling sorta but I miss her sweet innocent side kinda I respect what she is doing now as long as she is respecting and being true to herself but she is so young I think it's marketting.

@Spiddums Quite honestly, how do you know this isn't her true self? A change someone goes through is not necessarily something their doing on purpose. Perhaps something happened in her life that caused the change. It isn't an obvious answer either. ;D

I have to say, she seems a lot more real now than she did then...she's sort of pulling the whole "I'm the cute bubbly girl who's excited all of the time" whereas I feel like now she just says it like it is, smiles when she wants to smile, and doesn't give the answers everyone wants to hear.

How can you not get it?She is expirencing life and finding her true self. She s young and if you look deeply into her character Jenny you will connect and understand how she feels. I did.
