KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING, i ran a 4wd off the road and into a tree for being in the right lane, i got a good lol out of it because of the kids in the 4wd. Yeah, you seem confused. I've said from the beginning the car who brakechecked was not at fault. The person at fault was the dickhead who was in a rush, riding the guy's ass & then cutting the other guy off - when he had the left lane WIDE open. So the guy who got cut off sped around the guy who cut him off & brakechecked him... he gave him a taste of his own medicine & he did absolutely NOTHING wrong.
A- he was obstructing traffic.. which is illegal therefore WRONG
B- He deliberately sped around traffic to then brake check.. again illegal and therefore wrong
C- he did the brake check in retaliation for someone undertaking him which would have never happened if he wasn't breaking the law and in the wrong in the first place

@1019caveman i think you fail to realize that he has a dash/mirror cam that is always filming, either on the dash, or hooked up to the rear view mirror. They are cheap (I got mine for about 30 bucks) and easy to use. Some of them also hook up to the window via a suction cup. Maybe think next time? You have a head, use it.

there should be no problem traveling in that lane, if everyone is dong the same speed (as they should) then what is the problem with that lane. there should be no problem traveling in that lane, if everyone is dong the same speed (as they should) then what is the problem with that lane. I like that lane because everyone exits and merges in the other and the there are always slow people in the other lane. The outer lane is nice and smooth and constant.

on the highway, going highway speeds, someone cuts you off, you bump into them, its now cause thousands of dollars in property damage as well as very likely sending multiple people to the hospital.
people like you are dangerous. it is exactly that kind of mentality that kills thousands of people a year. the road is nothing like a shopping mall, and should not be treated the same.

@zircle1 People feel safer in cars. Also when someone cuts you off (that one wasn't that bad) at higher speeds it can seem like they're putting your safety in jeopardy. Personally I prefer to get 10 ft behind them and hit the train horn in my Altima.

Cars are very personal to the driver, it's seen as a personal attack when someone drives aggressively, and we feel anonymous and untouchable when surrounded by steel and moving along with a powerful engine. It's REALLY not that hard to figure out, if you give it a few seconds of thought.

It should be called road anger, not road rage. Most people don't know what rage is. Black car was blocking the passing lane, by keeping a steady speed, which explains the other guy's frustration. Most people call it the fast lane, but it's the passing lane. You pass a car, or cars, then go back in the center lane and let the people who want to fly by you fly, that's the proper way to drive. It's called live and let live. Cops are there to regulate speed and enforce racketeering laws, you're not.

Why brake check when you can swerve to avoid something instead? I had a guy on my ass on the freeway and there was a large truck tire in the lane ahead. So i waited until the last minute to change lanes and BLAMMO.

@comet605 The only time when someone break checked me was when i was merging onto a highway with bumper to bumper traffic. this dude wasn't gonna let me in but i just squeezed in front of him. he didn't like that i did that so he rode my bumper really close with the high beams on for awhile then when traffic lighted up he whipped around me cut me off and pressed the break pretty hard.

I hate fucking people that cut me off! Tailgating doesn't bother me nearly as much as someone cutting me off. With tailgating their not going to cause someone to swerve and cause an accendet like cutting someone off will.
