Its can be a good thing to merge the two genres in a way,but to have such a unique and powerful genre invaded with mainstream american hip hop would be a travesty (no offence to americans personally) hip hop influence would only reduce this musics original "underground" appeal and envelope it with poor cliche lyrics like cars money bitches ect ect. Point of the story is keep it instrumental, original and exiting, involving hip hop would be a step backwards for this genre.
Imagine Lootpack, Company Flow, Antipop Consortium, Muddy Fam, Terra Firma (Already doing Grime), Renegade Boyz (Already Doing Grime & Dubstep) etc. to name a few
Plasticians LA Dubstep Embrace & Ricky Switches Dub Rap Vol.1 although some of the tunes are mainstream the mixes are top notch in my opinion
Breaking down barriers & realising music is ONE is the way forward be it Electronic, Rap, Rock Or Reggae
Well put bro, ive got to agree with you in that scense, alot of the underground rap artists would compliment the music, but the mainstream is sinister and based on an idiology of selling records, so if it "catches on" and other high flyers get involved it could be scary, but yeah the artists you mentioned are sick to say the least, i would love to see a colaboration.
@dowler949 you certainly never heard of good hip hop aint all bout hos money n cars..besides that hip hop is certainly an influence to this genre just like raggae and many othes...in my opinion this is how a new genre emerges: takin influence from different genre, mixin it and add your individual style..you just need to dig deeper and dont let mainstrem media affect your opinion on musical styles..shit they got is whack..peace
is there any mix where he plays this up for dl somewhere out there?...anybody knows somewhere to hear a fuller version of this amazing track let me know.

Ok that's cool, have you the name of artists or tracklisting to give us so that we can discover what kind of results it gives.
I'm french and it's hard there to catch that kind of music within my country.
Thank's a lot

@BunkerKoba This hybridation is actually not new at all.
wu tang clan already released an album called think differently vol.2 - enter the dubstep. which is not the first of its kind.
