  • Omg my friend is in this

  • This La Bayadere is absolutely stunning and beautiful, not only the dancing, but also the stage set and costumes. It is magical. Rudolf Nureyev's production and his gift to Paris Opera Ballet before his death - so tragically taken from us too soon. Thank you qpactv for posting this wonderful summary video.

  • Oooh!

I'm going to see this on Saturday!

    YAY! Paris Opera Ballet!

    YAY! QPAC!

    I cant wait! :)

  • The adertising rollic is wrong in listing Bayadere as Nureev's.

    The credits are as follows:

    Choreography: Marius Petipa

    Libretto: Marius Petipa

    Music: Leon Mincus

World premiere: 1877 St. Petersburg, Russia

The only thing Nureev can claim is brining this great, perhaps the greatest ballet ever to the stage of Opera de Paris.

  • It is not wrong. It was Nureyev's production. Ballets don't produce themselves just like Shakespeare's plays don't produce themselves.
