umm. I got the same weapons and the same level as you in this part, but the icebrand only gices me a 35 attack power, can anyone help me? non of the other weapons seem to give me better attack either

if you're wondering what the ledges in the granfaloon boss chamber do darkevil: they're for a tactic in which you first cut away the corpses protecting the core, then you go up the ledge, transform into a bat/bird and fly into the core which does good damage. although i see you didn't need it at all. if you already know this sorry for wasting you're time

@YellowKeaton I played Aria of Sorrow some time after this. When I played Symphony of the Night, the concept was more new and impressive to me in a Castlevania game than when I played Aria of Sorrow. I'd have to say Symphony of the Night, but of course Aria of Sorrow is fun too.

If your lucky enough and you kill a Lossoth the sometimes will drop a FireBrand, and the discus Lord will Drop a Chakram which are two frisbie disc that you can through around rapidly.

why are your using the combat knife unsted of the holely sword it is much better and stronger than the combat knife

@KxK96 It's used to get past a dark section with spikes, like real bats in a way who have poor vision but can still make their way through darkness using ultrasonic sounds.

@luffychin731 i think it was the way u killed the boss dracula in the beginning.. i tried killing dracula with holy water and use holy water about 3 times on demon dracula..

got me 9 hearts from stares going back and forth.. but my stats was 8 STR , 10 CON , 10 INT , 9 LCK

then i tried making a new one and try killing dracula with holy water again and demon dracula with normal attack or chains.. stats was 9 STR , 7 CON , 8 INT , 8 LCK

but without dieing and the help of that kid..

STR type(normal atks) u get STR build

This boss is in the Xbox game Castlevania: Curse of Darkness in a secret underground area.. It is hard is F**k.. first it resembles this boss in SotN, gotta knock off all the dead bodies to get to the core, but once you defeat it, it's not over. it turns into another boss that hurls scores of dead bodies at you and just wow... it's stats are off the scale... I love curse of darkness because of all the Castlevania games since the great SotN, it's the one that most closely resembles it!

Well let me just add, well it's essentially a Castlevania Symphony of Darkness remake but in 3D however is when Trevor is the Belmont who's alive.. so i guess 300 years ago by SotN timeline..

Also do a youtube search for castlevania curse of darkness Legion and you should find the boss battle with Legion & Nuculais (the boss that is the Granfaloon Boss.

what is the best familiar in the game in your opinion?

@ipoopinstrollers The Sword familiar is bad at first, but it levels up and becomes good in later levels, so if you want to use one that's probably it. I just have the Demon ready to press switches as I don't really use familiars most of the time.

How do you get the bat to shoot the light rays so you can see where the spikes are??

@Theshark15z When you beat Olrox, you should've got the Echo of Bat. This is how I see the spikes. I think you press triangle to activate the echo while in bat form.

Yeah, I know I forgot to grab the Echo of Bat Relic after beating Olrox. So I had to go back all the way to Olrox's Room to get it and then go back all the way down to the Catacombs to get the Spike breaker.

Basically I was wondering if you liked the movie Spawn to know if the part at 7:01-7:34 reminded you of a good or a bad thing.

Well I guess it was a good thing seeing that best part of Spawn is when he is fighting all the minions in hell. The boss that you fight reminds me of that scene. By the way how do you perform the mist? I dont know if I got all the relics that it needs to do it or if I miss something in a certain area. Or maybe it all has to do how you beat dracula with Richtor in the Prologue??

@FotogX You can kill it with a special weapon or spell in certain games, but I don't remember for Symphony of the Night if it's possible at all.
