What I find strange is that if that is really Travis Grady, of Silent Hill 0rigins, why on Earth would he EVER think to drive anywhere near Silent Hill again after what he experienced. But then again, I am guessing the game takes place in Shephards Glen which I don't know how far away it is from Silent Hill. Haha, it's awesome how it actually gives the option whether or not to reach inside the hole. I always thought reaching into dark, unknown spaces was really creepy in these games. The fridgerator in Nowhere (SH1) was epic. The monster that pops out and drags you inside if you leave it unlocked.

Most horror game always like this the player got screwed and woke up, the guy beside him said "Are you OK? Bad dream?" COME ON, horror games today rarely as mature as Dead Space. This game is so different to the other silent hills...it's just that...a game...too gamey to be truly SH scary. The other games felt less like video games and more like scary interactive novels, you played through and really felt the fear...this is very realistic but just not the same. I think it's too realistic...too normal and not otherworldly enough.

Which means that this game is predictable. And I don't consider it a reference, more like a rehashing. People say SH4 has little to do with SH, well, I'd say SH: Homecoming has little to do with SH with the unoriginal moments and uninspired design. One of the great things about the original SHs was the originality and that each game was different from the last, and this one just falls short.
