It's a shame the world we live in, where we basically have to be ignorant and believe in this bizarre idea of a "Higher Power" to be happy. Maybe I'll just get depressed enough to kill myself hopefully before I'm 25. I can no longer fool myself into believing there's a God.

Walking with God, instead of in the direction I want to go has brought me more lasting contentment and lasting happiness than ever before in my life. How to be happy ? ? ? ? ? ? I'll tell you how I got over my suicidal misery. I got some surgery to fix my lifelong nasal blockage after I found out the devastating effects of mouth breathing. Mouth breathing has to do with your adrenal gland and how adrenaline impacts your emotions. So yeah thanks god, for giving me such an awful malady for my entire life. After healing from surgery in March, I want to live.

We have more manuscripts for the bible then we do any other ancient book. In fact thousands of them. And all of the scripts are the same even though some are different dates. We have Old Test. manuscripts dating as early as 125 BC. and NT. scripts 50 yrs after first written. They didn't have type writers then so had to be penned.

Acting and living in a virtuous way doesn't have to be because a celestial father figure mandates you to do so or because some blissful reward awaits you in the afterlife.
