i'm going on this on monday... so nervous as it'll be one of the biggest coasters i've ever been on (i'm planning on going on phantom's revenge first).
i was just there yesterday...i wish i liked rollercoasters!!! this one doesn't look so bad though! how does it compare to the racer? the only rollercoasters at kennywood i ride are the racer & exterminator.
@TiffanyTeddyTune44 NO WAY!!! I've rode this ride 2 times back in August and it was my first time riding Thunderbolt and it was awesome!!! The highest drop is I think 50 something or more and it is very smooth. I hope that answered your question. I've been on worse than this and this is as smooth as Comet at Hershey Park.
lol me and my friend went on this like 3-6 times in a row while waiting for my mom cousin and my friend little sister to get off the turtle and we saw them a few times in line it was fun...and this was actually the first roller coaster i rode at kennywood :D

the thunderbolt had a write up in the New York times . and they qualified it. at that place in time as the fastest wooden roller coaster in the world.
this ride is fun <333 but if u ride in the back car then the front u will noice the difference the front goes slowerrr but anyways great videoo..im going in 4 days for fright night im scareddd!! andy opinions?
this ride is fun, but crazy!!!! it like knocks your spectacles aka glasses off(if you have them.) so, if i were you, take them off. its kinda more crazier than the Phantom's Revenge.

The most thrilling roller coaster at Hershey Park is Fahrenheit 97 degrees and Falling Fast Fahrenheit for short. I'm sure you would ride that and also Storm Runner.
Classic ride from the "Golden Age" of great coasters. Congrats on your fine front seat taping...felt like I was on it! And that's not an easy track to hold a camera steady!!! Great post...thanx for sharing.
Haha this was my second favorite rollercoaster at kennywood. it kinda jerks you at the end though. when your going up that hill at the end of the ride and i almost threw out my arm because i had my hands up. but its still great. i like it because like as soon as you get on it there is a hill just to start you off. its awesome! :)
This coaster was really good!! The first time when i went on it I was a little freaked out by the whole no seat belt thing but once i got on it was awesome!!!
i rode this and for being ALL WOOD...its pretty smooth and a good tip...if ur scared just scream the whole time
