@Drumzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I'm surprised that someone as talented as yourself, the armless drummer, does not understand the concept of interpretation. That is, unless you are one of those walled in people who think that everything should be the same, in which case I'd reccomend moving to Nort Korea; Kim Jong Un would love to keep you as mediocre as humanly possible. Cheers! P.S. I'd love to see that vid of you playing this with just your feet.. It could make you more famous than Rick Allen!
@HilburnMcCormick I do understand interpretation, and I understand hes Interpreting the song like a dumbass. and you're telling me Im the one whos doing the same thing? This guy is just rocking away on a simple rockbeat like the whole entire song. Boring and abused.
Great drumming guys luv it! Dave, you play a wonderful fill at 29.27 which i've heard before but can't quiet break it down. Im not sure whether there's the use of double bass drumming?
Great drumming guys luv it! Dave, you play a wonderful fill at 29.27 which i've heard before but can't quiet break it down. Im not sure whether there's the use of double bass drumming?
At the beginning I thought the fat dude was slower but had a better groove, but after he took a few phrases to warm up he turned out to be a bit faster as well.
You guys broke that down son great.....I finnaly understand the concept and hope to apply it to my everyday drumming exercise...Thanks again....Good luck with the show!
@Spongierocks Hello ... whereas all want this and NO ONE answered, (who knows 'why') ... I tell you ... "It's About Something" of YUCA. find it also in the channel Free drum lesson after you .... inscribed 0k? I hope to have solved the long mystery .... you're right! Hello Joseph Rome, Italy
Actually this video is amazing and helped knowing how to play a SIngle Paradiddle but the only thing missing you guys is to say when to use a SIngle Paradiddle and not doubles , when to use Rudiments and finally Single and Double Strokes. Because now i knew how to play each of them but i didnt know when to use each of them in music . So please i would be so glad to find an answer from any of Free Drum Lessons admins or fans . Thanks FOR YOUR EFFORT.
First of all, I'd like to say I'm really sorry for my bad English!
I'm from Germany and i didn't play drums for 4 years! I never was that good, but your lessons are very helpful to get better and I hope to play drums very soon again in a band!
Your lessons are great! The descriptions and performances are very precisely, so that everyone easily understand it and more important: is able to play it!
So thank you very much for this show and I hope you will go on for a long time!
Please somebody tell me the name of the song a dont speak englihs very well and i dont understand what he say at the 4 13 when he say the name of the song :S
how long does it take to learn the single paradiddle couse i've been training for lika 2 months now and it doesnt really happend anything at the last month am i doing it wrong? -.-
I am in need of new heads but i dont know which ones to try next. i have used remo emperors and ambassadors and i have used aquarian performance 2's which i thought were great but i want to try some new ones. any suggestions?
Best tuition vids I've seen on Youtube - really inspiring. Great sounding kits and the crashes are awesome - hats off to your techi guys (inc Victor lol).
you dont need a lesson for that, you need a drummer who can hold up a steady beat, and holds it up nice and in time with everyone else. if you see a dude throwing around fills all the time, theres nothing there for you unless he can play a steady beat with you.
a good drummer plays to enhance what everyone else is doing, not show off and overshadow other band members.
It would be awesome if you could do it more often and not on Tuesday, I'm booked with rehearsals all day and don't get a chance to see your live shows.
Also so far I've only seen rock grooves/fills I was wondering if you could incorporate some Latin, funk, jazz, Afro-Cuban, influenced beats.
hey i was just wondering. my toms arent made for a tom stand. so i have one on a snare stand, what could i mount the other to. (i dont have a free snare stand)
Jared .....hi... thank you very much for shareing this stuff its so usful and it opened a wide range for me.
please can you do a Live Broadcast on BEATS??? like punk beats. i play in a punk rock band and the beats i know kinda limited, beats and fills. Please.
I have to ask, are you guys a fan of Rock Band or are you guys one of the "play a real instrument already" type of people?
Anyway, Rock Band has this new think launching really soon called Rock Band Network. It's a program for people to get their own music in the game and I think your music would do really well.
Not only will it get your bands name out, but you'll also get money for every track sold.
Just something to think about. I know I would buy it.
What in the fuck made you think this song needs 2 snares per measure? 1 would have been plenty. Also I could play this with my just my feet. garbage.

2. Also label your sheet music with RLRR LRLL (for beginners).
