The Baha'is have suppressed the Bab's writings. You can't even find the Bayan because the Baha'is purged it. (Just like they've done for years with other books they don't like.) The "selections" Baha'is have are limited, translated the way the admin wants, etc.
The reason the Baha'is suppressed the Bayan is because it's so different from the Baha'i Faith, and the words of the Bab suggest that Mirza Hussain (glory man) is illegitimate. 'Abdu'l-Baha re-wrote Babi history in his "Narrative."
I would give anything to be able to visit the Shrine of the BAB ,it's the yearning of my soul! so those of u that have what a Blessing, keep praying& teaching love to all mankind.
I visited the Shrine of the Blessed Bab this summer. What a Holy Place where the Holy Spirit is so tangible. And to think of His body, shattered by 750 bullets, lies within. The tongue of the soul is speechless! Praise be to God. Praise be to the Blessed Bab for awakening mankind from its dismal slumber. He, like John the Baptist preparing souls for Christ, lay down His life as a witness for the Truth of Him Whom God shall make manifest, Baha'u'llah.
CON'T-What put it all together for me was "progressive revelation". Makes perfect sense since unltimately in the big picture, the main points of every religion are the same. humans are the ones who always have to label, separate & divide. & if you think about it; if separation was the original sin in the first place, should that not be the exact thing we guard ourselves against? Weather its races, sex, cultures or religion. AS A PEOPLE WE DONT NEED TO CREATE ANY MORE SEPARATION IN OUR WORLD!!!!
I believe in both the Bab and Baha'u'llah, as well as the Messengers of God Who preceded them. I visited the Shrines of the Bab and Baha'u'llah this summer, 2010. So awesome! Was also there in 2001 and you can see the progress in the coming together of humanity. It keeps unfolding in the petals of unity. So beautiful, like the flowers around the shrines. What a privledge to be a Baha'i...
@fsmtdaler I could not agree more. I actually just heard of the Bahai faith before hearing of this faith "not religion" which is another reason why I think its nothing short of amazing, I belonged to a Unity Church. It was bible based of course but they did not think ppl were wrong for being gay or transexual or whatever. They just accepted and respected everyone's right to choose the teachings that speak to each persons heart the most. And there is no right religion & everything else wrong
I just returned from Pilgrimage to Haifa and Akka. The Holy Spirit is soooo tangible to the friends there. One feels as though one has stepped into Paradise, or the Garden of Eden. There are no words to describe the presence of the Blessed Beauty. It is the Christ Spirit, poured out again in this age.
This is where everything started, Shiraz , the place from where the highest emanation of love spread to the world, and without which life could not exist in this world as we speak. Very very fascinated with this Mighty Religion.
This is the place from where powerful divine forces were born, the same forces that will finally destroy the evil forces of the illuminati/Corporate NWO that have been enslaving the world since thousand years. At long last, Humanity will Prevail!
@uglygoon30 You total and utter fool. You don't realise how much of your ignorance you reveal with each of your comments. When He was in Iraq, Baha'u'llah DID offer the Muslim clergy to perform any one miracle of the clergy's choice. In return for the successful performance of the miracle, He asked the clergy to provide a signed and sealed statement in which they accepted Him as a Manifestation of God. The clergy refused the offer.
Hi dear nooreign. I find this video lovely and nice. I am not interested in those people who are giving negative feedbacks about the video and the faith as for me they will realise it one day,no matter what. They could be covenant breakers or lost soul who can't make up their mind,i,frankly speaking,do not care for those people. Now,the pics that u included in this video at 2:39 and the following,is it the pic of The Bab Himself? Are we allowed to post His pictures?
@PeterJDeer Thankyou for responding to my comment and sharing the quote. You are absolutely right. Believe me, I am aware of that quote and the fact that we are not meant to talk to Covenant-breakers. It's just that bozner 88 really infuriated me with the way he phrased his comment in trying to sound so innocent. My reply to him, against my better judgement, was motivated by losing my temper [and my ego I suppose :) ]. But sincerely, thankyou for your response.
@bozner88 Please read the reply I posted to uglygoon30's comments; you poor, misguided, Covenant-breaking soul. It is of very little consolation to you that Azalis are dying out very rapidly. You might be the only one left very soon.
@cameronmoj - If you are not aware, without permission of your National assembly you should not speak with covenant breakers. The Master and the Guardian have stated this quite explicitly.
Take note: despite espousing the belief that we are supposedly the 'actual' covenant breakers, they seek to engage us in conversation. Do not be goaded into this, difficult though it may feel considering the deliberately inflammatory nature of their comments.
@uglygoon30 You keep posting your ignorant comments on many Baha'i videos. The Bab chose Subhi Azal to lead the Babis only until such time as the Promised One revealed Himself. The Bab left no successor. The "Promised One" was a reference to Baha'u'llah only, NOT Subhi Azal. The ignorance and foolishness behind all of your comments are too transparent.
"The essence of belief in Divine Unity consisteth in regarding Him Who is the Manifestation of God and Him Who is the invisible, the inaccessable, the unknowable Essence as One and the same... How high the reward of him that hath not deprived himself of so great a bounty, nor failed to recognize the beauty of his Best-Beloved in this, His new attire." Baha'u'llah
Even if Baha'u'llah is not who he claimed to be, even if He is all the things his detractors accuse Him of, even if His writings don't come up to the 'required' standard, I will still try to follow His teachings, because they are better than anything else this world has to offer.
Through the movement of Our Pen of glory We have, at the bidding of the omnipotent Ordainer, breathed a new life into every human frame, and instilled into every word a fresh potency. All created things proclaim the evidences of this world-wide regeneration. This is the most great, the most joyful tidings imparted by the Pen of this wronged One to mankind. Baha'u'llah
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This video was posted to spark debate & interest regarding the Bab's role, in relation to the bahai faith. Now, I will expose the truth, for the young bahais who have been tricked into believing fiction...the Bab was chosen by God, as evidenced by the Miracle of surviving 100 guns shooting directly, during a miliatary assassination order. This event, is indicative of a true prophet - miracles. Mirza nuri did not and could not perform physical acts of miracles. He talked & wrote for a lviing.
Hey Uglygoon30,my sole purpose in making and posting this video was to show how the Truth of the Baha'i Faith and its twin manifestations, Bab and Baha'u'llah have conquered the hearts of humankind and their victory over disbelievers despite all the oppositions and obstacles that were raised against them.
The central theme of Bab's and Baha'u'llah's message is that humanity is one single race and that the day has come for humanitys unification into one global society.
@nooreign I appreciate your motives to post this video. Too bad, you, like most Bahais, answer so rhetorically, programmed to regirgitate Abbas effendi's explainations. Professor Brown, Middle-Eastern scholars and persian historians have confirmed the distinct differences from Bab and bahaullah. Even Bab himself, who met Mirza nuri, CHOSE Subi Azal to lead Babis..Bang! proof positive, pal. Jews, Muslims, Christians & Babis say NO to your ambition of a global gov't!
@uglygoon30 - if all the Bab had done was dodged bullets, I would not call Him a Manifestation of God, any more than I would call Houdini one.
The Bab's character, His message, and the Prophecies He fulfilled are proofs far more compelling than even the awe-inspiring circumstances of His martyrdom. And Baha'u'llah? The Bab Himself, who you acknowledge because of miracles, says "I Myself am, verily, but a ring upon the hand of Him Whom God shall make manifest -- glorified be His mention!"
The research results that you have been reading are produced by some retards men that are so afraid of change and new laws that they would rather die in extreme ignorance than investigate and embrace the truth. The consequence of using outdated and expired beliefs are mental retardation that your researchers are suffering from.
@PurgingFalsehoods i apologize for the hate but you really need to rethink your religious views, remember christ said that we are his brothers, sisters and mother, we are both sons of man and God, like him, he and us are equals
just want to clarify something; they might be dead physically but their message of love is still alive and in motion.... that is what makes everyone's heart to rock and roll but some don't know it....that what makes every atom in the universe to vibrate and electrons rock and roll around them but not everyone knows this.
Look at everything with the eyes of your soul if you like to be always alive...
hey chill, we have our own believe. we have our own say to our own believed. but watever it is, the most important is to respect one another. regardless of race, religion and country. but most important of all, njoy n appreciate life to the fullest while it last.... work hard, play harder! peace out peeps!
We Bahai's believe that God sends his messengers to help guide and educate mankind in stages, according to our capacity. It is called progressive revelation. This quote from the Bhagavad Gita best explains mankind's need for this, "When Righteousness Declines , O Bharata! When Wickedness is strong, I rise, from age to age, and take Visible shape, and move a man with men, Succouring the good, thrusting the evil back, And setting Virtue on her seat again."
"The reality of Christ was always in heaven and will always be. This is the intention of the text of the Gospel. For while Christ walked upon the earth, He said, "The Son of Man is in heaven." Abdu'l-Baha: The Promulgation of Universal Peace, page 245.
PurgingFalsehoods...Here is what Abdu'l-Baha says about Christ, "The reality of Christ is ever-living, everlasting, eternal. For that divine reality there is no beginning, no ending. and, therefore, there can be no death."
the song is "Divine Tapestry" by Smith and Dragoman. the words are from the "Bayan" revealed by the Bab, the Promised Qaim, in Farsi and Arabic. The song is called "Divine Tapestry" b/c it is a tapestry of four languages (Farsi, Arabic, Bembe and English).
Even if Baha'u'llah isn't the promised one, I will still try to follow his teachings, as they make more sense than any other teachings I know. I believe the saying goes something like, 'by their fruits you shall know them' and I also know that the purists among you will pinprick about that bit, but you get the piont.
That's not why they rejected...And you're not substantiating your claim about that prediction, and secondly, The Bab predicted that the Promised Christ would proclaim Himself 19 years after His proclomation and that His revelation would abrogate The Bab's religion. The Bab declared in 1844, Baha'u'llah declared in 1863.
1863-1844= 19!!!!
Another prophecy about the Promised Mahdi is that his dispensation will last 7, 9 or 19 years.
Jesus didn't offer any sure salvation either peace be upon him, execpt that which ALL PROPHETS of God did. That is believe in his oneness, do not associate partners with him, and follow his commands which are truth over falsehood. May you be guided out of your ignorance.
Here is what Baha'u'llah wrote about people as yourself:
O ye that are foolish, yet have a name to be wise! Wherefore do ye wear the guise of the shepherd, when inwardly ye have become wolves, intent upon My flock? Ye are even as the star, which riseth ere the dawn, and which, though it seem radiant and luminous, leadeth the wayfarers of My city astray into the paths of perdition."
JCouraged meditate on these words for a while see if you understand its meaning!
Tell me something me beloved friend; Why the Jewish people still denying the Christ as their Messiah? is there any one among them as intelligent as you , "JCourage"? or they are all as confused about their Messiah as you are about the Return of Christ? catch my drift?
On May 23, 1844, in Shiraz, Persia, a young man known as the Báb announced the imminent appearance of the Messenger of God awaited by all the peoples of the world. The title Báb means "the Gate." Although Himself the bearer of an independent revelation from God, the Báb declared that His purpose was to prepare mankind for the advent of the Glory of God.
Sir Isaac Newton researched about the return of Christ. Newton had a simple calculation for the date of the return of the Christ as shown in the following:
The Bahá'í teachings promote the elimination of all forms of prejudice and uphold equal dignity and respect for all peoples, regardless of their racial, ethnic, religious or national background. Equality of men and women, the elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth and economic justice for all peoples, universal education.
I am a Baha'i, and I believe the Baha'i Faith is not a sect of Islam. Bahá'ís believe that there is only one God who is the source of all creation;
The prophets like 1. Adam (? BCE) 2. Abraham (? BCE) 3. Moses (1456 BCE) 4. Krishna (1249 BCE) 5. Zoroaster (1000 BCE) 6. Buddha (757 BCE) 7. Jesus Christ (34 CE) 8. Mohammed (613 CE) 9. The Bab (1844 CE) 10. Baha'u'llah (1863 CE)
are his messengers who came to educate humanity from time to time.
The faith bahai is a islamic sect. The progressive revelation makes part of the islamic theology, only that finishes in mohammad, according to mohammad , God sent 124.000 messengers to the world in every times . Mohammad predicted that Jesus is going to come back and that near his comes the "imam mahdi".The faith bahai is a islamic sect that believes in greeting of this prophecy and that: bab is imam mahdi and bahaullah is the return of Jesus Christ in the glories of the father.
No actually it is not a sect of Islam or any other religion for that matter. Just like Islam is not a sect of Christianity. As you may or may not know, all religion came from the east. Just because The Baha'i Faith originated from Iran(Persia) doesn't mean it has to be apart of Islam.
jazzistc 1 of 5 The Bahá'í Faith is not a Muslim sect. We do not add or follow any other Holy Books but our own. Bahá'u'lláh claimed to be a Mouthpiece of God and divine reveler of a new manifestation with its own Holy writing. The Research department at the Bahá'í World Center has now organized Bahá'u'lláh's writings and counts at least 15,000 "tablets," or separate writings. Most are a page or two in length; perhaps a dozen are of book length.
3 of 5 Bahais consider all the major holy books to be divine, therefore Bahaullah has many references from the BOOKS. Here are some of the Prophets mentioned in Bahai scriptures: Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Zoroaster, Krishna, Buddha and many others. ( WE DO NOT CONSIDER ALL RELIGIONS TO BE DIVINE)
All what you say is true, and its is interesting that you have recognized the fact that The Prophet Mohammad spoke of the coming of the Bab and Baha'u'llah, not many muslims see that truth, but the definition of sect to contradictory to your explanation. We do not use the Koran as our holy book, and we donot follow the rules of the koran, We use the Kitab-i-Aqdas, and Accept Baha'u'llah As the messenger for today, not Mohammad. So its not a sect...sorry!
Allah is God in Arab, always was . The word allah exists for millenniums for this reason I was used in Arabia pre-islamic , inclusive for Christian and Jewish because allah is God in tongue arabe(in biblia Arab allah appears because allah is God in Arab, and her variations : alahim(elohim) and etc) , as well as Dio is God in Italian.
You can't "prove" claims of faith. THat's a fantasy created by Christians in an effort to strut up their decaying belief system in the face of modernity. the truth of Baha'u'llah's claims are the inner changes they produce in us! The real question is how will Christians respond to the Voice of God fo our time?
The divine religions were founded for the purpose of unifying humanity and establishing universal peace. Any movement which brings about peace and agreement in human society is truly a divine movement; any reform which causes people to come together under the shelter of the same tabernacle is surely animated by heavenly motives.
IF religion brings disunity it's no longer a divine movement. The Baha'i faith teaches unity. Research it!
I was born in a Bahai family. The difference is i actually read the "ketab Aghdas".
If people would only read "holy books" such as Quran, Bible, Aghdas and others, they would realize how elementary and outdated these books are. In the Aghdas, there are many quotes that are sexist, racist and simply ridiculous. Just because you are told to respect it, does not make it worthy of respect.
Most religious follow because they inherited religion.Think independently
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
No they didn't destroy it. The just updated it by new instructions that was useful for the people of their time (about 2000 years ago) after Jesus, Muhammad came and updated Christianity with new logical beliefs. And after them Baha'ullah appeared to deliver the new message of God to today's people. Which is the message of LOVE and Unity as you can find this out through out his books. About 1000 years after Baha'ullah another prophets will subsequently to complete this divine mission.
"Weigh not the Book of God with such standards and sciences as are current
amongst you, for the Book itself is the unerring Balance established amongst men. In this most perfect Balance whatsoever the peoples and kindreds of the earth possess must be weighed, while the measure of its
weight should be tested according to its own standard, did ye but know it." -BAHA'U'LLAH
You can't "prove" claims of faith. THat's a fantasy created by Christians in an effort to strut up their decaying belief system in the face of modernity. the truth of Baha'u'llah's claims are the inner changes they produce in us! The courage it took for a man to proclaim the sacred Oneness and equality of all mankind in the midst of such hostility, tyranny and bigotry as he faced in his part of the world at that time is quite holy enough for me! I don't know how holy a person has to get to prove his Godliness to you, but it is clear you missed it this time!! I pray that you unbelievers look again, drink deeply of the spirit that sent us all to this world, not to doubt the signs of love, but to embrace and mirror them!
Anyone who take the time and read the story of his journey to victory or the Baha'i history will, for sure, testify to his noble character and his spiritual holiness. The proof is this that in the span of 150 years since his execution his believers are serving his cause all around the world and have no intentions but the good and happiness of its people.
1- He declared to be of divine origin and to prove it he sacrificed his life like Jesus and other prophets.
2- His writings are evidences of his holiness and his divine origin.
3- The growth of his Faith for which he gave his life, in the past 150 years has been more than the growth of any other Faith in the first 150 years of its inception.
4- The transforming power of his teachings is another proof.
5- Like Jesus and Prophet Muhammad, he was a human like us but holy and divinely inspired.
The Bab prepared the world for the coming of Baha'u'llah who is Promised One of All Ages;
the advent of Bab and Baha'u'llah together initiated the spiritual rebirth needed for the unity of mankind and the establishment of the inevitable world peace.
Their coming revolutionaized the world of humanity and formed the century of light for which Thomas Edison invented the
first commercially practical incandescent lamp in 1879, at the start of the Baha'i New Era.
RAGAB1000: "SAY Praise be to God Who graciously enableth whomsoever He
willeth to adore Him. Verily no God is there but Him. ... it is He Who causeth His Word to be fulfilled as He pleaseth and it is He Who leadeth those who have received illumination and seek the way of righteousness. Fear thou God, thy Lord, and make mention of His Name in the day-time and at eventide. Follow not the promptings of the faithless, lest thou be reckoned among the exponents of idle fancies." -THE BAB
"For unto us," Isaiah foretold, "a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"
The Messiah, Isaiah wrote, would be not only the "Prince of Peace," and the "Wonderful Counselor" (NASB), but also "Mighty God" and "Everlasting Father."
Why would Isaiah call the Messiah "Mighty God," "Everlasting Father," and "Immanuel," if He was not God?
Salvation must come from the house of Judah, and the only savior is the Jewish Messiah.
The Messianic nature of the book of Isaiah is so clear that the oldest Jewish sources, the Targum, Midrash and Talmud, speak of the Messiah in connection with 62 separate verses including Isaiah 9:6.
Mohammed knew about Jesus existence but he considered that he was just another great prophet, the thing is that the -The Qua ran was altered for war and blood shed appetite as now the religions distort mans thoughts in blind fates! ignorance is the tool of the lower darkest ones to control people masses will.
What really Light is, it's knowledge and is from God and comes with Love and By love, freely as you can see a candle light or the sun rising every day 8)
Muhammed was a false prophet from allah the god, and he did not know Jesus and in fact he owned no Bible in Arabic, because none existed. Muhammed never knew of God's saving grace, mercy and message of salvation through Jesus and this is a simple fact illustrating that he was not a "progressive revelation" as Baha'i teaches. Christian view of salvation is very different from Islam (See Romans 3:20) Christ pays the price that all deserve, dying as an innocent sacrifice for a guilty humanity.
he wasn't directly God, he was a Messenger of God, a true profet as Jesus and Mahoma where also, and eventough all we are part of God as Creation and conscience part of the Universe, so he should be closer to God's resemblance... you have a lost and low concept of the meaning of God God speaks trough everything if we learn to observe & listen openly with heart and conscience opened
Richbee2be- Why do you haunt Baha'i sites? Does the TRUTH of the Baha'i Revelation frighten you so? Why not have your own site and proclaim your views. Christianity is split into thousands of sects. Your views are held by one splinter!
He bore these ordeals, suffered these calamities and difficulties in order that a manifestation of selflessness and service might become apparent in the world of humanity; that the Most Great Peace should become a reality; that human souls might appear as the angels of heaven; that heavenly miracles would be wrought among men; that human faith should be strengthened and perfected;
that the precious, priceless bestowal of God, the human mind, might be developed to its fullest capacity in the temple of the body; and man become the reflection and likeness of God, even as it hath been revealed in the Bible: `We shall create man in Our own image.'
Thou hast come to see a prisoner and an exile; We desire but the good of the world and the happiness of the nations; yet they deem us a stirrer-up of strife and sedition worthy of bondage and banishment....
Wow! so what Richbee2be is saying that Baha'u'llah's 40 years of exile, tortures, imprisonments and hardships were only for his own good and pleasure!!!!
Up until around the year 1650 Christians believed that the planet earth is flat and the earth is the center of the universe based on their interpretation of Bible. They executed Galileo Galilei for saying the earth is round and that it is not the center of the universe. Acts 1:9-11 is a reference to the spiritual return of Jesus. Return of his spirit is much nobler than his physical return, as the spirit is eternal but anything physical is ephemeral.
My brother, you are doing the same mistake as the Jews when Jesus came. You take scripture literally rather than understanding its spiritual meaning. I wish you may open your spiritual eyes and perceive the grandeur of this new Dispensation, that hath upset the world's equilibrium, and whose fruit will be the Kingdom of God on earth, universal peace and a divine civilzation never attained in human history. All forces on earth are incapble of extinguishing the light of Baha'u'llah from spreading!
Well said! and we tested His spirit through His teachings and His holy writings and we see nothing but the truth; those who believe in Him are the most peaceful and well wishers of mankind; Baha'i Faith is now scattered over 180 countries and territories in less than 160 years since its inception and the Baha'is are the most positive and hopeful about the future and the divine destiny of mankind... as the Kingdom of God is established in their hearts and in their souls and in their spirits.
RICHBEE2BE: Your Jesus has come now as you see. Of course who dies can't come back at a later time, this is proved by science and logic. but if you take it spiritually you'll find out that the meaning of return of Jesus is noting except returning its soul not its body, and his soul is sent to human being by other prophets who follow the way of Jesus, Mohammad, Zoroaster, Moses ...etc.
A question: what is the Baha'i argument for the existence of God and the soul? I have never heard a satisfying argument for that first, most basic prerequisite for belief in any religion. I admire a lot about the Baha'i faith (was in fact raised by Baha'is), for example the focus put on the unification of the world and the elimination of poverty. However, I see no reason to believe in God, much less any particular theology. Would appreciate a reply to this comment.
3amohom777 this is what Baha'u'llah wrote to address the Muslims:
1 of 2) Speed out of your sepulchers. How long will ye sleep? The second blast hath been blown on the trumpet. On whom are ye gazing? This is your Lord, the God of Mercy. Witness how ye gainsay His signs! The earth hath quaked with a great quaking, and cast forth her burdens.
you bahaii s are really strange you said you believe in Muhammad and the Quran and yet you say the opposite of wat both say. any way read tha : 'Salutations be upon the Lord of mankind..., He (Mohammed), through whom messengership (Risalat) and prophethood (Nabuwwat) have been completed (intahata)
I like to say that I was a Christian Catholic for 25 years and a Muslim and proud of it for 20 years and now I am a Bahai for 12 years. And as a Bahai I am still a Christian and a Muslim and I now understand all of the revelations and how each revelations contribute to one another to benefit mankind. GOD BLESS ALL THAT ARE BAHAI's!
O Lord! Assist those who have renounced all else but Thee, and grant them a mighty victory. Send down upon them, O Lord, the concourse of the angels in heaven and earth and all that is between, to aid Thy servants, to succor and strengthen them, to enable them to achieve success, to sustain them, to invest them with glory, to confer upon them honor and exaltation, to enrich them and to make them triumphant with a wonderous triumph. ...
How can a scripture be expired? If a religion comes from a certain era then it is set and should not be changed you cant just invent rules and modern regulations to suit every century.
God has renewed the divine covenant through Baha'u'llah in the same way He Renewed it through Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and all other divine teachers. Their advents were for the good and happiness of the people. Everything in life is relative except the truth of our creator; the teachings of any particular Manifestation or prophet are "absolute" only for his dispensation or the era they were in.
That's why the divine revelation is progressive...
I thought I explained before that Baha'is worship GOD alone. Islam for today, meaning "submission," is now achieved by turning to the Baha'i Faith, the Religion to come after Islam since Islam is a "middle" religion. "Thus We have appointed you a Middle nation [ommat, religious community], that ye may be witnesses against mankind, and the messenger may be a witness against you." (Qur'an 2:143) Religions before and religions after. It only makes sense that God would never stop sending His truth.
The correct translation is as follows Thus We have made you (true Muslims - real believers of Islâmic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his Sunnah (legal ways)) a just (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) be a witness over you. The MIDDLE you are referring to (JUST) where found is to mean not excessive and not weak thus middle.
Sorry, but I disagree with your interpretation. And unless you are God, I don't have to agree with you. You can say it means this or that, but it only makes sense if God's hands are still outstretched and He still cares about humanity that He would send more Messengers to straighten out the mess the people of made of the last Message. If He hadn't, who could claim that God loves us? God has always sent Messengers. He will never stop, no matter what the mullas want you to believe to keep control.
Bahai didnt came from Islam like christianity came from Judaism it came from shiih muslim and shiih is not sunni read about what happened after Omar ebn el khattab the 3rd califate of Islam and diversions and conspiracies that happened and it ll be clear to you. I quoted to you verses from Quran i hope you did read them properly. In Islam we have to respect other people religions and whoever do opposite that is not muslim. you believ in One God thats perfect thats the message of Islam.
The Qur'an may say you have to respect people of other religions, but then how come all the terrorist groups associated with Islam? Islam is a body without a head. There is no one to say what Islam is and what it is not. People decide on their own according to their own understanding of the Qur'an, and hundreds or thousands of sects are the result. The Baha'i Faith has solutions to the problems of the world. It was promised in all the Holy Books, including yours. We all suffer by ignoring it.
Muhammad said to his Cousin Ali that Ali to him is like Haroun to Mousa (Moses) but No prophet is after me. and yet still shiih calaiming that Ali was the last prophet then history continues and Bahaiia appeared did you know that Islam is the Only religion that is not named by its founder. and read about (Musailema el kazab) the liar musailema who apperaed uring the prophet Muhammad time claiming he is prophet also and what s happened to him.
and quran (3-85) And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
(5-3)This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your religion.
The Baha'i Faith is none other than the Religion of God renewed for this age even if you doubt it: "And Joseph came to you aforetime with clear tokens, but ye ceased not to doubt of the message with which He came to you, until, when He died, ye said, 'God will by no means raise up a Messenger after Him.' Thus God misleadeth him who is the transgressor the doubter." (Qur'án 40:34) If this sounds familiar, it should. Do you think God would not test Muslims the same as He tested those in the past?
And I quote......And indeed Yûsuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: "No Messenger will Allâh send after him." It says YOU said not God said hence neither Joseph or God said he was the last messenger! God said Mohammed (SAW) is the last prophet and messenger sent to mankind so there will be no test to muslims regarding this.
The Quran says this: "The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth." (Ali tr, Qur'án Surah 5) Since God never changes, His "hand" must still be outstretched! To insist that God has finished sending Messengers when the Qur'an says otherwise is a big mistake, imho. God does whatever He pleases. He doesn't have to listen to you.
The Jews say: "Allâh's Hand is tied up (i.e. He does not give and spend of His Bounty)." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for what they uttered. Nay, both His Hands are widely outstretched. He spends (of His Bounty) as He wills. Verily, the Revelation that has come to you from your Lord (Allâh) increases in most of them (their) obstinate rebellion and disbelief.
We have put enmity and hatred amongst them till the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war, Allâh extinguished it; and they (ever) strive to make mischief on the earth. And Allâh does not like the Mufsidûn (mischief-makers)........bounty does not refer to messengers. Your lack of insight and indepth of understanding the Koran is overwhelming.
The Qur'an itself says that it is difficult to understand, sometimes impossible, that only God can interpret it correctly. What makes you think you know what it means and I don't? I can read as well as anyone else. I find it ironic that Baha'is are the only people besides Muslims who believe in Muhammad and yet we are persecuted worse by Muslims than anyone else, and Muslims persecute Baha'is worse than those of other religions, too. I prefer religion without hatred or persecution, thank you.
You give lip service to this verse while denying what it says. Have the "hands of God" become bound since Muhammad? I don't think so! God does what He wills and ordains what He pleases. In this regard, I consider Baha'is closer to true acceptance of this teaching than those like you who would tie up God's "hands" and proclaim God is finished. Who is any human being to say that God will never again send a Messenger? Do you submit to His Will or not????
and if you beleive in the Quran for you to try to get me verses from it and say it referred to your man that you worship so read that.
quran (3-19) Truly, the religion with Allâh is Islâm. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, then surely, Allâh is Swift in calling to account.
Baha'is do not worship Baha'u'llah, we worship God alone. The evidences of His truth are in His writings and life story, which we have recorded quite accurately and completely (a MILLION verses on the original paper!). There is no excuse not to look into this for yourself and see for yourself that this is the truth from God Himself. And the Baha'i way is completely peaceful and uplifting for any soul who embraces it. This is it, what the world is waiting for, and still they slumber....
read till the end of sura dear wendy that by the way many people converted to islam because of this sura cause they got the message and and knew that there is judgement day and every soul will be asked about everything you done on this earth and every soul have its book the one you referred to and thought its talking about your book.!!! and you still didnt answer my question every prophets is descensent from Abraham is the bab or Baha2ullah decended from him?? just answer zat 1 wiz proof
I answered your question a long time ago. Both the Bab and Baha'u'llah were descended from Abraham. The Bab was a Siyyid, descended from Muhammad on both sides of His family. Baha'u'llah was descended from David (Sarah) and also from Abraham's third wife, Keturah. Your Judgment Day is now. What will you answer to God when He asks you why you ignored the Great Announcement? What excuse will you give? That you thought you knew what the Qur'an means when the Book itself says no one really does?
that s what the bab said but he really is not descendent from Muhammad it was the concept of mahdy or the chosen one that muslims are waiting to come and unite them that the shiih were trying to use it in their favour and between time and time someone appears and say that he is that one your prophet said he is the bab which mean in Arabic language he is the door that through him the Mahdi will come and then no Mahdi came. read about the twelves Imams that shia have and you ll understand that
Ask yourself- u cant just invent a religion- some guy comes along and wohoooo everyone want to make a religion more modern what kinda nonsense is that?
Baha'u'llah did not invent a religion. He revealed the Word of God. You make the same arguments Christians and others make against Muhammad. Some things never change. The human tendency to reject God's Messenger when He comes until He becomes popular enough to be acceptable is rampant. I'm just glad I didn't have to rely on public opinion to decide if Baha'u'llah is the truth. I could see with my own eyes that He and His teachings are as purely the Religion of God as anyone could want or need.
Muhammad was not popular he was outcast so your statement above hardly carries any weight. Where is the evidence that Baha'ullah is a prophet carrying the word of God? You perhaps believe in his words as they suit your modern needs?
The evidence of Baha'u'llah is the same as for Muhammad, except we have His actual written words, not reported sayings memorized and written later. 40 million words of Divine Revelation, a life of sacrifice and love, teachings that are wise and peaceful, all His prophecies that came true, the willingness of His followers to die for Him while He lived, the fact that people of all religions have accepted Him as the Promised One, the beauty of His words. Look for yourself. What are you afraid of?
verse 70:& each person will b paid in full of what he did;& He is Best Aware of what they do
verse 71:& those who disbelieved ll b driven 2Hell in groups till, when they reach it,z gates thereof ll be opened (suddenly like a prison at z arrival of z prisoners).& its keepers ll say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting 2 u z Verses of ur Lord,& warning u of z Meeting of zis Day of yours?" zey ll say: "Yes, but z Word of torment has been justified against z disbelievers!"
verse 72: It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"
verse 73: And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salâmun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein
Baha'u'llah, "the Light of her Lord" (Glory of God) is symbolized by the second "trumpet" blast. The Qur'an predicts rasulin, Messengers, plural. The Bab and Baha'u'llah are those Messengers. Another translation has it "And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Book will be placed (open) and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them..." (Qur'án 39:69) Will you pronounce a just decision? Or just parrot the mullas....?
dear wendy read the quran carefully its talknig about judjement day and mentioned many and many times in the whole quran read the galalin explainatin or ebn kathir or tabari or qortobi and its a scene from judjement day and you didnt read the next 6 verses til the end of the sura al zomor
If your intrpretaion of the Qur'n is correct, how come almost all the early believers in the Bab were Muslims? Did they just not get it? Should hey have come to you to understand what the Qur'an really means? With hundreds of sects of Islam and the main split between Shi'ih and Sunni, how does anyone know? If Muslims can't agree among themslves as to the meaning of the Qur'an, who am I to listen to? I'll take Baha'u'llah's undersanding--it is sublime and wondrous! Just read His words and see. :)
The first "trumpet" blast symbolized the Bab. His ministry caused a huge commotion in Persia. It was said that a million people accepted Him though many lost their faith owing to the persecution and martyrdoms of the Bab and thousands of His followers. Still, the Faith endured and has now spread to more countries than Islam or Judaism and is the second most widely spread religion. Not bad for an entirely peaceful enterprise with no coersion and no threats of hell or violence in only 164 years.
"I am the last of the Messengers and my mosque is the last of the mosques." (Hadith of Muhammad) Obviously, Muhammad did not mean that no more mosques should be built after he built the mosque in Medina, and thousands more mosques have been built since He said that. So last, apparently, does not mean final. "And the trumpet is blown.... Then it is blown a second time, and behold them standing waiting! And the earth shineth with the LIGHT of her Lord and the Book is set up." (Qur'an 39:68-9)
u know that you really dony understand the quran you choosed verses you didnt get the meaning this verse is talknig about 2 blown the first one is the last day on earth when every soul die and the second blown meant the resurection and every one waiting for his judgement that s how its gonna happen
I understand the Qur'an well enough to know that it is frequently misinterpreted. Baha'is don't believe the earth is going to have a "last day" in the sense you do. This IS the last day. This is the Day of Judgement. We are each judged by our response to hearing that the Bab and Baha'u'llah have come--will we investigate or ignore them? Your interpretation of the trumpets sounding is unreasonable and illogical. The Messenger IS the Resurrection, as Jesus said, not bodies rising from graves.
i didnt say bodies and i know my quran well like every muslim know it and the early believers of the bab were shiia :-) that they diverted from the suni which muhammad said I left with you what you ll never lost after me my book and my sunna and sunna means every step and and way and habbit of the prophet please read about the shiia and how they became and their way of thinking and knows that you came from them another way of thinking
Baha'is believe the Shiih branch is the correct one since they actually followed the instructions of Muhammad while the others denied His instructions and went their own way. The fact that the majority did means nothing. As Jesus said, "Many are called but few are chosen." Sometimes the majority goes in the wrong direction. However, Shi'ihs also strayed over time and distored the truth of Islam and have some very strange teachings now. As I said, Islam is no longer perfect. Anyone can see that.
How did sh'ia muslims follow the prophet Mohamed (SAW) when they swear at his companions....who ever swears at my companions swear at me and who ever swears at me swears at God.
My dear, Muslims swear at each other and kill each other all the time. Ever read the news? It doesn't matter whether they are Shi'ih or Sunni. Shi'ihs followed Muhammad's words when He told them to look to Ali after He had passed on. Muslims rejected those words claiming He was delusional or senile (!) and decided to elect someone else. But this is ancient history. Who is your kalifa now???? There is no one, and Islam continues to be slit and disunified. It can never be put back together. Sorry.
Delusional and senile?you quote this from where? You keep bringing up info that in a sunni perspective is totally wrong. The prophet did not say who the khalifa would be after him however, they were directed by signs.I speak arabic and understand the Koran well.Your religion came from Shiaa so of course u would be bringing evidence from that prospective.Read history correctly not from a shiaa book I suggest a nutural place. who killed the grandson of the prophet? waiting for ur answer on that 1
Muslims must have thought Muhammad somehow deficient if they ignored His own instructions. The fact that you seem ignorant of this history is not surprising. I doubt most Sunnis would want to remember how they ignored their own Messenger. As to who killed Husayn, it sure wasn't Christians or Jews. As to who martyred Husayn, you can look that up on the Internet. The early history of Islam is a shame, really. So much bloodshed, I don't know what you make of it. Thank God Baha'is are peaceful...
All the messangers of the god are spritually related to one another. Muhammad was the last prophets but not the last Messanger. I did explain, read below.
A Rasul was a messenger of Allah who was given a new Shariat (codes of law) from Him. And a Nabi was also the messenger of Allah, but he was not given any new Shariat and followed the shariat of earlier Rasul. Sheikh Mufid, a great scholar of Islam writes in his book, Awa'il al-Maqalat, "every messenger is a prophet [Nabi], but not every Prophet is a Rasul [Apostle]. All Rasules were Nabi but all Nabis were not Rasuls.
3amohom7777, It is fact that Jewish religion didn't believe in Christ because they are expecting the messiah to be from descendent of King David. They Christ wasn't. It doesn't mean he was not send by God. Christians they don't believe in Mohammad for some reason or another, it doesn't mean he was not a messenger of God. So, what make you so sure that you are not making the same mistake!

You might be the only one left very soon.
cameronmoj 1 year ago

The central theme of Bab's and Baha'u'llah's message is that humanity is one single race and that the day has come for humanitys unification into one global society.
nooreign 1 year ago 11
@nooreign I appreciate your motives to post this video. Too bad, you, like most Bahais, answer so rhetorically, programmed to regirgitate Abbas effendi's explainations. Professor Brown, Middle-Eastern scholars and persian historians have confirmed the distinct differences from Bab and bahaullah. Even Bab himself, who met Mirza nuri, CHOSE Subi Azal to lead Babis..Bang! proof positive, pal. Jews, Muslims, Christians & Babis say NO to your ambition of a global gov't!
uglygoon30 1 year ago
@uglygoon30 - if all the Bab had done was dodged bullets, I would not call Him a Manifestation of God, any more than I would call Houdini one.
The Bab's character, His message, and the Prophecies He fulfilled are proofs far more compelling than even the awe-inspiring circumstances of His martyrdom. And Baha'u'llah? The Bab Himself, who you acknowledge because of miracles, says "I Myself am, verily, but a ring upon the hand of Him Whom God shall make manifest -- glorified be His mention!"

O ye that are foolish, yet have a name to be wise! Wherefore do ye wear the guise of the shepherd, when inwardly ye have become wolves, intent upon My flock? On May 23, 1844, in Shiraz, Persia, a young man known as the Báb announced the imminent appearance of the Messenger of God awaited by all the peoples of the world. The title Báb means "the Gate." Although Himself the bearer of an independent revelation from God, the Báb declared that His purpose was to prepare mankind for the advent of the Glory of God.

Sir Isaac Newton researched about the return of Christ. Newton had a simple calculation for the date of the return of the Christ as shown in the following:
Daniel 8:14
"And he said unto me,Until two thousand and three hundred days;then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. "
Therefore, let's do the calculation as it says in the quotation;
2300 Dan 8:14

1843 A.D.
So the result shows the year of 1843, but Newton says the actual year is 1844

The Bahá'í teachings promote the elimination of all forms of prejudice and uphold equal dignity and respect for all peoples, regardless of their racial, ethnic, religious or national background. Equality of men and women, the elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth and economic justice for all peoples, universal education.

I am a Baha'i, and I believe the Baha'i Faith is not a sect of Islam. Bahá'ís believe that there is only one God who is the source of all creation;

Mohammad predicted that Jesus is going to come back and that near his comes the "imam mahdi".The faith bahai is a islamic sect that believes in greeting of this prophecy and that: bab is imam mahdi and bahaullah is the return of Jesus Christ in the glories of the father.
jazzistc 3 years ago
No actually it is not a sect of Islam or any other religion for that matter. Just like Islam is not a sect of Christianity. As you may or may not know, all religion came from the east. Just because The Baha'i Faith originated from Iran(Persia) doesn't mean it has to be apart of Islam.
brilliant1990 3 years ago
jazzistc 1 of 5 The Bahá'í Faith is not a Muslim sect. Most are a page or two in length; perhaps a dozen are of book length.
pinabarryscott1 3 years ago
2 of 5 Here is some of the proof of this.
Muslims regard the Bahai Faith as non-Muslim. They do not regard it as a sect of Islam.
Although Bahais are encouraged to learn the Quran we have our own holy books.
Many of the teachings and beliefs of Baha'i are contained and are followed.
pinabarryscott1 3 years ago
3 of 5 Bahais consider all the major holy books to be divine, therefore Bahaullah has many references from the BOOKS. Here are some of the Prophets mentioned in Bahai scriptures: Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Zoroaster, Krishna, Buddha and many others. ( WE DO NOT CONSIDER ALL RELIGIONS TO BE DIVINE)
pinabarryscott1 3 years ago
All what you say is true, and its is interesting that you have recognized the fact that The Prophet Mohammad spoke of the coming of the Bab and Baha'u'llah, not many muslims see that truth, but the definition of sect to contradictory to your explanation. We do not use the Koran as our holy book, and we donot follow the rules of the koran, We use the Kitab-i-Aqdas, and Accept Baha'u'llah As the messenger for today, not Mohammad. So its not a sect...sorry!

ormonclark Baha'i faith teaches us:
The divine religions were founded for the purpose of unifying humanity and establishing universal peace. Any movement which brings about peace and agreement in human society is truly a divine movement; any reform which causes people to come together under the shelter of the same tabernacle is surely animated by heavenly motives.
IF religion brings disunity it's no longer a divine movement. The Baha'i faith teaches unity. Research it!
pinabarryscott1 3 years ago
unity is not exclusive to religion.

So Christianity also destroyed Judaism by making thier Prophets to christian ones?
TobiasVetter 3 years ago
No they didn't destroy it. The just updated it by new instructions that was useful for the people of their time (about 2000 years ago) after Jesus, Muhammad came and updated Christianity with new logical beliefs. And after them Baha'ullah appeared to deliver the new message of God to today's people. Which is the message of LOVE and Unity as you can find this out through out his books. About 1000 years after Baha'ullah another prophets will subsequently to complete this divine mission.

Anyone who take the time and read the story of his journey to victory or the Baha'i history will, for sure, testify to his noble character and his spiritual holiness. The proof is this that in the span of 150 years since his execution his believers are serving his cause all around the world and have no intentions but the good and happiness of its people.

2- His writings are evidences of his holiness and his divine origin.
3- The growth of his Faith for which he gave his life, in the past 150 years has been more than the growth of any other Faith in the first 150 years of its inception.
4- The transforming power of his teachings is another proof.
5- Like Jesus and Prophet Muhammad, he was a human like us but holy and divinely inspired.

the advent of Bab and Baha'u'llah together initiated the spiritual rebirth needed for the unity of mankind and the establishment of the inevitable world peace.

"For unto us," Isaiah foretold, "a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"
meaculpa9r 3 years ago
The Messiah, Isaiah wrote, would be not only the "Prince of Peace," and the "Wonderful Counselor" (NASB), but also "Mighty God" and "Everlasting Father."
Why would Isaiah call the Messiah "Mighty God," "Everlasting Father," and "Immanuel," if He was not God?
meaculpa9r 3 years ago
Salvation must come from the house of Judah, and the only savior is the Jewish Messiah.
The Messianic nature of the book of Isaiah is so clear that the oldest Jewish sources, the Targum, Midrash and Talmud, speak of the Messiah in connection with 62 separate verses including Isaiah 9:6.

Monireh99 3 years ago
How can a scripture be expired? If a religion comes from a certain era then it is set and should not be changed you cant just invent rules and modern regulations to suit every century.
3amohom7777 3 years ago
God has renewed the divine covenant through Baha'u'llah in the same way He Renewed it through Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and all other divine teachers. Their advents were for the good and happiness of the people. Everything in life is relative except the truth of our creator; the teachings of any particular Manifestation or prophet are "absolute" only for his dispensation or the era they were in.
That's why the divine revelation is progressive...
progressive...

WendyS9 3 years ago
The correct translation is as follows Thus We have made you (true Muslims - real believers of Islâmic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his Sunnah (legal ways)) a just (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) be a witness over you. The MIDDLE you are referring to (JUST) where found is to mean not excessive and not weak thus middle.
3amohom7777 3 years ago
Sorry, but I disagree with your interpretation. And unless you are God, I don't have to agree with you. You can say it means this or that, but it only makes sense if God's hands are still outstretched and He still cares about humanity that He would send more Messengers to straighten out the mess the people of made of the last Message. If He hadn't, who could claim that God loves us? God has always sent Messengers. He will never stop, no matter what the mullas want you to believe to keep control.

3amohom7777 3 years ago
The Qur'an may say you have to respect people of other religions, but then how come all the terrorist groups associated with Islam? Islam is a body without a head. There is no one to say what Islam is and what it is not. People decide on their own according to their own understanding of the Qur'an, and hundreds or thousands of sects are the result. The Baha'i Faith has solutions to the problems of the world. It was promised in all the Holy Books, including yours. We all suffer by ignoring it.

WendyS9 3 years ago

WendyS9 3 years ago
The Jews say: "Allâh's Hand is tied up (i.e. He does not give and spend of His Bounty)." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for what they uttered. Nay, both His Hands are widely outstretched. He spends (of His Bounty) as He wills. Verily, the Revelation that has come to you from your Lord (Allâh) increases in most of them (their) obstinate rebellion and disbelief.
3amohom7777 3 years ago
We have put enmity and hatred amongst them till the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war, Allâh extinguished it; and they (ever) strive to make mischief on the earth. And Allâh does not like the Mufsidûn (mischief-makers)........bounty does not refer to messengers. Your lack of insight and indepth of understanding the Koran is overwhelming.
3amohom7777 3 years ago
The Qur'an itself says that it is difficult to understand, sometimes impossible, that only God can interpret it correctly. What makes you think you know what it means and I don't? I can read as well as anyone else. I find it ironic that Baha'is are the only people besides Muslims who believe in Muhammad and yet we are persecuted worse by Muslims than anyone else, and Muslims persecute Baha'is worse than those of other religions, too. I prefer religion without hatred or persecution, thank you.
WendyS9 3 years ago
You give lip service to this verse while denying what it says. Have the "hands of God" become bound since Muhammad? I don't think so! God does what He wills and ordains what He pleases. In this regard, I consider Baha'is closer to true acceptance of this teaching than those like you who would tie up God's "hands" and proclaim God is finished. Who is any human being to say that God will never again send a Messenger? Do you submit to His Will or not????
WendyS9 3 years ago
and if you beleive in the Quran for you to try to get me verses from it and say it referred to your man that you worship so read that.
quran (3-19) Truly, the religion with Allâh is Islâm.
3amohom7777 3 years ago
Baha'is do not worship Baha'u'llah, we worship God alone. The evidences of His truth are in His writings and life story, which we have recorded quite accurately and completely (a MILLION verses on the original paper!). There is no excuse not to look into this for yourself and see for yourself that this is the truth from God Himself. And the Baha'i way is completely peaceful and uplifting for any soul who embraces it. This is it, what the world is waiting for, and still they slumber....

3amohom7777 3 years ago
I answered your question a long time ago. Both the Bab and Baha'u'llah were descended from Abraham. The Bab was a Siyyid, descended from Muhammad on both sides of His family. Baha'u'llah was descended from David (Sarah) and also from Abraham's third wife, Keturah. Your Judgment Day is now. What will you answer to God when He asks you why you ignored the Great Announcement? What excuse will you give? That you thought you knew what the Qur'an means when the Book itself says no one really does?
WendyS9 3 years ago
that s what the bab said but he really is not descendent from Muhammad it was the concept of mahdy or the chosen one that muslims are waiting to come and unite them that the shiih were trying to use it in their favour and between time and time someone appears and say that he is that one your prophet said he is the bab which mean in Arabic language he is the door that through him the Mahdi will come and then no Mahdi came. read about the twelves Imams that shia have and you ll understand that

3amohom7777 3 years ago
Baha'u'llah did not invent a religion. He revealed the Word of God. You make the same arguments Christians and others make against Muhammad. Some things never change. The human tendency to reject God's Messenger when He comes until He becomes popular enough to be acceptable is rampant. I'm just glad I didn't have to rely on public opinion to decide if Baha'u'llah is the truth. I could see with my own eyes that He and His teachings are as purely the Religion of God as anyone could want or need.
WendyS9 3 years ago
Muhammad was not popular he was outcast so your statement above hardly carries any weight. Where is the evidence that Baha'ullah is a prophet carrying the word of God? You perhaps believe in his words as they suit your modern needs?
3amohom7777 3 years ago
The evidence of Baha'u'llah is the same as for Muhammad, except we have His actual written words, not reported sayings memorized and written later. 40 million words of Divine Revelation, a life of sacrifice and love, teachings that are wise and peaceful, all His prophecies that came true, the willingness of His followers to die for Him while He lived, the fact that people of all religions have accepted Him as the Promised One, the beauty of His words. Look for yourself. What are you afraid of?

Baha'u'llah, "the Light of her Lord" (Glory of God) is symbolized by the second "trumpet" blast. The Qur'an predicts rasulin, Messengers, plural. The Bab and Baha'u'llah are those Messengers. Another translation has it "And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Book will be placed (open) and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them..." (Qur'án 39:69) Will you pronounce a just decision? Or just parrot the mullas....?

3amohom7777 3 years ago
My dear, Muslims swear at each other and kill each other all the time. Ever read the news? It doesn't matter whether they are Shi'ih or Sunni. Shi'ihs followed Muhammad's words when He told them to look to Ali after He had passed on. Muslims rejected those words claiming He was delusional or senile (!) and decided to elect someone else. But this is ancient history. Who is your kalifa now???? There is no one, and Islam continues to be slit and disunified. It can never be put back together. Sorry.
WendyS9 3 years ago
Delusional and senile?you quote this from where? You keep bringing up info that in a sunni perspective is totally wrong. The prophet did not say who the khalifa would be after him however, they were directed by signs.I speak arabic and understand the Koran well.Your religion came from Shiaa so of course u would be bringing evidence from that prospective.Read history correctly not from a shiaa book I suggest a nutural place. who killed the grandson of the prophet? waiting for ur answer on that 1
3amohom7777 3 years ago

I did explain, read below.

so Muhammad said there wont be any more Nabi and he never said there won't be any more Rasul. Bahaullah was a Rasul.

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things."
fatimahkhanom07 3 years ago
