  • I have given up on the Protestants as ever understanding the Early Church. They just can't.We live in a world where NO ONE ever admires anyone except themselves! It's sick! If one respects, admires, praises someones' piety and yes, holiness today they are considered worshipping them as idolitry! Thank the Lord Jesus that He and NOT these narrow minded people is who we answer to! They love to damn everyone to Hell except themselves.I think they are jealous of the Saints.I really do.

  • Thank you for your time to put this together!

  • @NuLoveLife you are welcome :)

  • Humanity has been deceived believing in an assumed saint, which is not, but is a demon, working through an idol made by the hand of man. But, let me tell you that the Lord wants to give you the best. He wants you to enter the Kingdom of Heaven; to repent and to leave idolatry. Because idolatry will not save you. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the one that saves, who gave His life for you, for me and for all humanity.

  • @thalonen Icons are not idols. There is nothing wrong in seeing God's creation (including His people) as a gateway to him (icons), that does not mean to replace him with an idol (idolatry). If you want be against idolatry of saints you will find an ally in me, but I will always pray with God's saints.

  • @guilhermefreire48 Those who talk to saints, talk to the dead.

  • @thalonen Our phisical existence is a small part of our life with God. Spirits have relationships, with others and with God. I see no problem in asking other to pray for us (body/soul/spirit or just spirit).

  • @guilhermefreire48

God forbids it in the Bible. He says it's an abomination to talk to the dead.

Anyone can come directly before God in Jesus' name! There is no need for any middle hands. I have met God, Jesus and Holy Spirit personally. Anybody can meet them who really means business!!!

  • @thalonen brethren, talking to the dead? Where in the doctrine of the Church does it say we talk to the dead? Where in the Bible does it say that the Saints are dead? Didn't Christ raised all the souls of his chosen people and opened the gates of heaven for them when he died and rose again from the dead? To claim that the saints are dead is a great insult to the resurrection of Christ! To say that the saints are dead is to simply deny the fact that Jesus died to raise the dead! Peace be with you.

  • @thalonen brethren, where in the Bible says that the Saints are dead?

  • @miguelarcilla15

The Bible doesn't have to tell us when a person is dead, any grave digger can tell you that.

  • @thalonen brethren, Idolatry can never ever save humanity. Who says so? But to pray with God's elect in heaven is idolatry? I never thought so. What if I ask you to pray for me? Does it mean I'm committing the sin of idolatry? The real idolatry is to look at yourself as a chosen, and high one, with extreme boastfulness! The real idolatry is to look to others with judgement! We are not lords of ourselves to judge how others express their faith.

  • @miguelarcilla15

I'm NOT DEAD like Maria and the other Catholic saints of old, and I am only a disciple of Jesus, so no you would not be commiting idolatry by asking me to pray for you. ...unless you worship me, then I become a dispicable idol.

  • @miguelarcilla15

I'm not "for" any Catholic saints, since I'm not a necromancer. God is the one we are supposed to talk to in Jesus' name! Through Jesus and ONLY Jesus can we talk directly to our heavenly Father. I think this is wonderful, why not take God at His word?

  • @thalonen Brethren, when we praise the Saints, it is God who is glorified because He is the one who placed these Holy Ones at their ranks. God created them to be called Saints, and they became saints because of their strong faith in God! To be cleared, let us use this thing as an example: Tell me, can you even praise the painting Mona Lisa without giving more praise to Leonardo Da Vinci who created this icon himself?

  • @miguelarcilla15

All of Christs followers are called saints, it just a word which means "set aside for the Lord".

  • @miguelarcilla15

To praise a saint is purely demonic.

  • Stunning, gorgeous, moving. Thank you so much.
