The Catholic church is not part of the true Christian church anyway - it's a pagan religion under the umbrella of Christianity. Its roots are heavily Babylonian in nature

I think you should check out what sect actually means because your comment is non-sensical. Anything that is a sect is OUTSIDE of Christianity by definition. As for it being 'pagan' out of Judaism. This is nonsensical because Judaism is monotheistic (triune God), who is the same, today and forever in Christianity. The story of Abraham is simply a pre-run of Jesus sacrifice for us. lol, no. Noun 1. religious sect - a subdivision of a larger religious group. Catholicism=Christianity, it is not an entirly different religious group. Any group that hold Jesus Christ as they're lord and savior falls under the religion Christianity, that's why it's called CHRISTianity. It may be a "perverted" form of your sect of the religion but it doesn't mean it's not part of it.

You call all parts of Christianity a 'sect', but logic alone tells you there has to be a true way in order to define a sect. There are different administrations of Christianity, eg pentecostal, methodist, baptist etc, but a sect is one that sways from the teaching of the scripture and introduces its own doctrines. Even a Jehovahs Witness told me Jesus was his lord and saviour, but he denied Jesus' deity, which is a clear contradiction to scripture. Other groups have other clear false teachings

Like I said it may be a "perverted" version of what you were taught growing up, but it's still Christianity. If we counted all the sects of every religion in the world as completely different religions, there would be over 100,000 practicing religions in the world with over 1,000,000 practitioners, and with 6,000,000,000 people on this planet are you sure, your EXACT faith YOUR perticular faith is the true one? If so, your delusional. Even I have doubts of atheism, but I'm not gnostic about it.

Again this is a shocking statement. The Catholic church only kicked off after the Romans took Christianity on as their state religion and perverted it with all its pagan rituals and 'mother god' worship. Catholicism was brought to Britain long AFTER the original Britons heard the gospels from the apostles after the time of Jesus death. Indeed the invading catholics went to war with the true early Christians. Luther was LONG AFTER this event. Again, do some studying, it's easily accessible.
