  • Hi Benny you have been helping me out alot but heres a tip at the end when your with the special guest I cant hear a word u guys are sayin thx very much

  • Ni hao Benny! I also have learned "Zui jin hao ma?" Is one better for formal or casual? What do you recommend?

I have a long way to go, but thanks so much for your teaching!

  • @hooliganizm777 It's better for casual occasions. Benny

  • I don't know who Vanessa Branch is but how did you find her? And is she is Shang Hai?

  • DEAR FRIEND

  • How have you been recently?...

  • omg I love your videos...OH MY GOD YOU HAVE ALMOST 600 VIDEOS...I sure have my work cut out for me...well better get learning thanks ;)

  • ChinesE people Really talk so fast in person. you dont have the opportunity so understand, think of what their saying

  • Isn't there a way to block out music tracks on YouTube,. cause I am on the verge of suicide if I hear that song again.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne lol man. yeah, the song is beginning to get to me too. Imagine listening to it 600x with 600 videos. OMG!!!! I"ll be hearing it in my dreams. ABC... dah dah dah dah ABC... ughhhh....

  • I soooo cant take watching 30 movies and listening to jacksson five all the time.

But it would be nice to view a guy teaching aswell.

  • trhnxssss

  • jackson 5 baby

  • whats the intro song?

  • type in 1 2 3 a b c song lmao and it will come up

  • isn't it the jackson 5?

  • The white lady sounds kinda hot speaking mandrin.

  • omg its jackie chan

  • I think as long as you're interested and committed/dedicated to a language, you don't need to live in the country to learn it well. Thanks for the videos, Benny lao shi!

  • I also agree that Korean is easier than Chinese! I've been studying chinese at my school since the beginning of the school year. It's pretty difficult, you always have to do lots of studying or you'll forget the characters. I'm actually like a Korean freak; I've been obsessed with the Korean culture for 2 years now. I learned to speak and write on my own, from korean dramas and music. Plus, korean doesn't have any tones like chinese! And reading/writing is waaaay easier.

  • chinese easier for "Me" to pronounce

    Korean writting isnt easy either.

I like china so much more than Korean

food, music, movies. the hanzi is an Art Form.

    cantonese is Hard yes.

  • for future reference, please mute the background music when talking as it is hard to hear you clearly.

  • wo shi huan askbenny

  • That would be "xi huan"

  • thanks that helped

  • guo de zen me yang is "how are you" between friends right?

  • i think that's a mixture of cantonese and mandarin..

  • Comment removed

  • whats harder korean or chinese?

  • Korean by far, they have about 7 different ways of saying you and fiendish pronunciation.

  • chinese. chinese by a mile. im trying to learn chinese and its harder than korean. my friend knew how to read and speak korean in a week. not chinese. i guess it depends who you ask. if you get the basic korean down, its easy to learn. chinese is all memorization...

  • @yonggsukk

That's because Korean has a logical alphabet system whereas Chinese just has all these hanzi

  • awesome language but difficult

  • agreed, best way to learn a language is to go to that country and live there. =/

  • yonggsukk, going to a country and living there is also the most impossible way to learn a language for most people. I don't have the time or the money to travel to China or Japan so I study in my room and hope to meet a foreign person when I go in public. Very lame, but reality for most people interested in languages.

  • Vannesa Branch can speak Mandarin?? o_O

  • she can????....

  • apparently...she can. lool.

  • is "zen me" the same as "shen me?"

  • zen me---how is

    shen me---what is

  • Unfortunately, I couldn't hear her response to "how have you been recently".

What is the answer to "Ni Zui Jin Zen me Yang?"

  • she said:" wo zui jin hen hao, xie xie ni"

  • Thanks

  • Bu ke qi~!

  • bull young say

  • how to say in chinese?

    I'm doing fine

    Pls :-)

  • Hi Kdayuni, if this is the response to how are you doing, you can respond wǒ hěn hǎo in Chinese

  • Can I also say :

Ni zui jin hai hao ma?

Because I have been using that a lot lately rather than Ni zui jin zen me yang.

  • Of course you can say that, it's a good way of greeting people.

  • hahaha your expressions are so funny from the old vids like this one

totally wake me up so that i can learn chinese

even tho its like.. 1 in the morning ;D

  • Nice vids pengyou.

I study mandarin, this helps me quite a lot, so far whenver I talk they understand, some also say quite a good pronunciaiton, but I'm not sure.

Does "dui bu qi" and "bu yong xie" mean the same thing?

Keep it cool, ocntinue with the vids pengyou.

    Zai Jian! XD

  • "dui bu qi" means "sorry"

"bu yong xie" means "don't need to thank", i.e. when someone says thanks, you can answer with "bu yong xie"... or "mei wen ti" (no problem).

  • dui bu qi = sorry

bu yong xie = you're welcome

  • bu ke qi, also mean you'are welcome right?
