And the killing? Tibet's population was around 3-5 million in 1950. in 1970, it was still the same. The BBC is also biased for not complying with international regulations on legal standard names because it never uses the correct name, "Persian Gulf," in its reports. What it does is that it vandalizes a historical name, of which is a part of the Persian heritage. This is not only an insult to my country. What many people don't know is that all media is biased, and typically most Western/Free Media mainly report negative remarks about all countries/people. Yes, ALL, including their own country.
Why? because stories about bad things are what people are looking for in news, not the positive events.
Where as Chinese Media on the other hand will always give positive remarks about their government because it is a part of the government.
I prefer negative remarks than positive ones

well media cant always be perfect with the coverage. but BBC has their reputation and is known for their accuracy and their views as a 3rd party. I don't think we should boycott the Olympics, but it seems so obvious that Chinese descents are arguing solely b/c they aren't happy with BBC's airing of China's inhumane activities, and how the unveiling of their mistakes can neg. affect them. Given the huge number of the anti-China videos on YouTube, it's amazing how effective the United States government (CIA, etc) has been at demonizing China over the past decades. China has done nothing out of the ordinary in even the most liberal countries (all limit free speech in some manner, resist separatist movements, use force to stop violent protests, etc), yet China is criticized while other countries are applauded. What's perhaps more amazing is how many have fallen for that propaganda.
