The thing is that parents just don't want to worry about it...they don't want to explain how it works and what happens if something doesn't work...well you should give a chance your son/daughter to decide and explain everything. I will do that when I have kids and I will explain everything within proper age at different stages of their lifes. yes, you can still get one. i think that most of the teens who pledge to abstinance with these rings have already been sexually active at one point, but decided to stop.
I brought my son to SRT the day before his 13th birthday.We both wear our rings faithfully.For me it means so much more just being a parent praying for my son and future daughter in law.I'm a divorced parent,so this applies to me as well if I'm to marry again. Lord willing.
