Part 2. Going to the Dr's for my followup this coming Friday, 2 weeks after surgery. Just feeling a bit tired but I think tht is normal from having surg and anethesia wearing off and getting out of my system. Just following orders and doing what I can as body allows. Did drive a short dist cause I did not need pain meds so could. Just to the store to get some groceries. (I live alone so fend for myself) good luck to you.
today is my 6th day after a partial removal of the tyroid. biopsy came back benign. I was supposed to stay ovrnight but was doing so well they sent me home so surgery 730 A and back home in my bed at 7p. I was surprised that I was feed normal food while in hosp. and it di not hurt swallowing. Just the incision hurts where they cut open. Sutures still on was told they fall off on their own about 5 days after but they are still hanging on.
i had this surgery done in the beginning of august, They told me it was going to be very hard for me to have kids now since i had a total thyroidectmy. Not having a thyroid is such a pain
i saw your video you look great. i have a few questions...i got 2 very small thyroid nodules..they dotn bother me and my doc didnt even recommend to take a biopsy i just had a scan that is it.do you have any kids? i want to have some but im afraid eventually they will cause issues or i have to get surgery, have you had issues with weight gain or anything? where you hyperthyroid? my t3 is kinda high 8 pts above average but t4 and tsh were good..please tell your experience..im 28 and scared

I have this surgery in about 4 days, does your life go back to normal again, like eventually and after all the work and stuff is done?

I hope that you feel better soon...
I am thinking about doing the total thyroidectomy surgery ( I have a goiter) but still thinking about it....
