HEY, Why not have the voice actor of L...........PLAY L !, i mean it may take a lot of make up work, but that shouldnt be too hard and it would be freakin awesome to have the actual voice of L played by him, it just makes sense, you cant recreate that, he has the facial structure close enough, his mannerisms and how he is in real life reminds me of how L acts too!, so that being the case i think it would work, as for the other voice actors im not sure how similar they look, but makeup would work

As L Joseph or Leto (is very hard in there). As Misa, I go with Taylor Momsen. As Mikami, Cillian of course. As Matsuda, I will go with Zach. And as Light...umm, it could be any of those 3 really. Zac is fan of Death Note, so he knows Light well, and Chase could be great. I don't know the 3rd one, but he kinda looks like Light somehow. Anyway, is my opinion. I just hope the film is good and loyal to the anime/manga.

Its true that he can speak basic english (or as he would say engrish) but do you really think that the smartest character in this movie should barely be able to speak the dominant language of the film?
